Cassie - Sorry about the WI but you can turn that around this week. Maybe some extra walking time or movement will help. Good job for wanting to keep at it. You can do it!

Rene - Good to see you checking in. Good news that the fishing trip didn't kill you! But a great NSV for you!

I stopped by the fitness center tonight. I looked at my check in sheet and I had only been TWO times in the month of August. TWO. How pathetic is that?!! I did the circuit weight machines and then 20 minutes on the cardio. I'm feeling that I didn't do much for that month. My body just wasn't revved up. But its a start. However tomorrow night, there is a new study for women starting and I was planning on going and then on Thursday, I have an appointment at a new chiropractor right after work. Dang it that means it will be Friday before I get there again. I need the chiro as I feel like there is something out of place in my neck. And the pain is just annoying and makes me feel dull all day.

Okay, need to go referree a dog play that is almost out of control. That would be Miss Daisy who has been snoozing in the house all day while the others were in the kennel. She's using all the pent up energy on Duke who, dufus that he is, loves it and eggs it on. :dizzy:

 to all!

Good morning, hope everyone has a good day today. It's sorta cloudy but very humid so I drug myself to the treadmill and walked for 15 minutes although I wanted to get off after 5. When the weather is cooler, I want to try walking outdoors 'cause there's a lot more interesting things to look at!

I'll check in again later, have a great day all!

Cassie - That is so how like I was last night - ready to quit after only a few minutes. I need some invigorating weather. Crisp fall weather.

Hi Everybody! Sorry ive been gone so long. Ive had a He_ L of a bad time of it lately. Im a dog person and in feb my Peppermint died of what we thought was a heart attack. She was 4. But now we know she was poisoned. My favorite dog Caffeine was sad so we got her a puppy. Paisley is 6 months old now. All 3 girls were from a rescue and were pit mixes. we also have Rover a 12 year old yorkie. Anyway, Caffeine was poisoned and died. paisley and Rover are fine but now have to be only in the house. The police say we cant do anything without proof- my neighbors dog was killed also. We are sick about it and it has been all consuming for me.
And I am a person that eats under stress so no help there! anyway Im back, Im sad and miss my girl, but Im back. Annie

Good Morning Ladies!

Oh Annie! That's just horrible! Do you think they were targeted because they were pitts? I'm so sorry to hear about it!

Greetings Cassie! It's lovely in MO now that the rain stopped. Only 73 degrees today!

Hey Terri, Twice to the gym is two more times than me!

Hi Rene! Glad you survived your trip. See? You CAN do anything!

Hello Ruth! How scary about the garage! A woman I worked with came in Tuesday morning and said she'd had the police going thru her house. Apparently, her front and garage door had been open all day and well into the night Monday. She didn't remember opening them, but nothing was missing she could tell.

Hey Heather! My eating problems aren't that bad - just at "events" - unfortunately, I have a lot of those in the past and next few weeks.

Tomorrow I have a medieval demo at a local festival. It's a big deal and we'll be there all day, with mostly faire food to eat! And birthday cake - I told them if I was giving up my birthday for the demo I wanted cake and presents! I think they took me seriously - at least about the cake! :woo: At some point I'm sure I'll be taken out to dinner and have put in a request for Chinese food. I love it and never get it.

I had my hair colored and trimmed last night and so I now have no gray to start my 45th year. ;)

Next Friday is my 20th law school reunion. Buffet food and open bar. So there will be another event to eat hearty at....

But then I should be done. I'm doing WI today, and I don't think I'll show a loss - but even a slight gain I can live with. My jeans I'm wearing now are a pound heavier than the capri's I usually go to WI in. (Yes, I weighed my pants.) So even a 1 lb gain, I can blame on that!

I have to run - :judge: time!

Annie - I'm a dog person too (in case anyone missed that) and that is absolutely horrible. Whomever did that should be poisened themselves. I can't understand how people can do such cruel things to animals. I'm very sorry for all the sadness and stress you've been going through because of some creep. :grouphug:

Lilion - Its a gorgeous September morn in Mo! My kind of day. Its nice to see sunshine after two days of rain and gloom thanks to Gustav. Have fun at your even tomorrow - sounds like a blast.

I went to a new chiropracter last night. I've been wanting to go for a long time but I don't like the bone cruncher types. This guy does something different and too bad I can't remember what he called it. He uses a tool to make adjustments not his body weight jumping on my back or snapping my neck. He had to adjust in five places! :yikes: I can feel the difference this morning but I'll got back next week. It will take a few treatments to get my neck back to where it should be; all that stress for so long and sleeping on my stomach (yes I know its the worse but I'm asleep when I do it!) have played havoc on my neck area.

Tonight, I'm off to the gym. I am not feeling the fatigue I've been feeling so hopefully I will do better at my workout than the slug I've been.

I'm planning for a quiet weekend. Cleaning the barn. Cleaning house. Riding horses. Playing with the dogs. Trying not to chew out DH for something!

 to all!

Irishcoda 09-06-2008 04:26 PM

Oh no, Annie, I am horrified by what happened to your poor dogs, I can't believe people can be so cruel and yet they do things like this over and over. It makes me want to cry!

Lilion, how was the medieval faire? I haven't been to one in years, love 'em.

My modem got fried and so I was offline for 2 days. The cable guy just replaced it and now I'm hoping we won't lose power because of Hannah. It's raining now, nothing heavy, just like a regular old rainstorm.

On Thursday my DH and I took our grandson to a children's museum and we had a wonderful time. The boy loves to climb! I got my exercise that day! :carrot:
