If your only eating 1500 and your SURE about that (weighing and mesuring at first is essential. Eyeballing can really throw the #s off) WLS won't really help you much because even those patients eventually end up eating close to that calorie wise it might be less in the inital months, but stomaches expand and most people 6 mo out can eat fairly normal light meals and have to eat more frequently.
Like the others said it could be more of a medical issue. PCOS, Thyroid... make sure you get that all checked out too. |
Is there anything that you know of that could help my thyroid without going to the doctor? I Don't have doctor money. I figured I had a thyroid issue, but I don't have insurance or that fun stuff.

NO! Thyroid medication (even the supplement stuff that tries to tell you otherwise) can be dangerous. Too easy to overtreat or undertreat, with possibly dangerous consequences.
Call the health department and ask to speak to a nurse. Tell her that you suspect you have thyroid issues, but can't afford to see a doctor. She will be able to help you find the absolutely cheapest way to see a doctor. It might even be free. Many areas have free or nearly free services. Or will work out a payment plan. |
