Hi,
I don't usually post here (I just stay on the WW or Fat Smash Forum) but I have had such great success w/ Fat Smash, I thought you might want to give it a try. I have heard you can get the book by Dr Ian Smith (from Celebrity Fit Club on VH1) at some WalMarts but I ordered mine off Amazon for around 8.00. Basically the diet is in different phases and Dr Smith has some suggestions for plateaus as well in the book to shake up the body and get it out of the routine it is used to. Phase 1 is 9 days of detox - fruits & veggies (no potato) - steamed or grilled only along w/ beans, 2 c of brown rice daily, 1/2 c of oatmeal, 6 oz of nonfat unflavored yogurt, only water or herbal tea to drink. 30 min of cardio 5 days per week, no weights/toning yet and you must eat 4-5 scheduled mini meals per day, no eating 1 1/2 hrs before bedtime. I started Sunday and as of Tues had lost 4 lbs. I will weigh again tomorrow. I was sluggish the first 2 days and bored w/ the diet but now that I am making some recipes off the Fat Smash Forum and have changed it up a bit, I am ok and will actually survive phase 1!What what I have seen on the forums, people are losing 4-13 lbs on the detox phase with 6 or 7 being average. Phase 2 then introduces more egg, cheese, cold cereals & some seafood & meat. I don't look at it as a diet, I look at it as a healthy plan for life because once you finish the phases, it all makes sense and the lifestyle doesn't deprive you of anything. Send me a private message if I can assist you with it, I would be happy to. Or better yet, come over to Fat Smash Forum, Lem
