I'll be turning 30 next month and wondered if I could join up with y'all? I'm trying hard to loose a bit of weight before then. I'm currently 228. I've lost 4 pounds in the last month. I don't expect to loose the other 28 pounds this month, but I would like to loose a few!

I've floated around on the boards, but really haven't found a place that I click yet. I'm hoping this will be it!

I've got a treadmill and I'm walking on it. I've walked 3x's this week for a total of 4 miles. Not much, but a start. I also play volleyball on Monday nights. That's great fun and great exercise because they are very competitive.

I'm hoping to make my 30's my best decade ever!

Is alright to join in with you??

I am new to the 30's group, too. I will 31 on Sunday, but I am still in a little bit of denial about being in my 30's. I, too, want to make my 30's better than my 20's health wise.

Welcome to the forum!! WTG on losing 4 pounds, that's a great start, keep it up! Most posts are up in the weekly thread, so just head up there and jump right in!
