You can really tell the difference Stevi, of course you know I think you're beautiful anyway. :)

I found some pictures of my kiddos...

This is all 3 at Disneyland in May....

This is my oldest Jordan...

This is Emma at the zoo recently...

And this is Noah at the zoo recently...

And this last one is my daughter this morning with her poor face all swollen from poison oak...her face was so swollen that she could hardly even open her eyes. :( The Dr put her on Prednisone, so I'm hoping that tomorrow it is a lot better after she gets her second dose tonight, poor thing.

What a beautiful bunch! Poor lil Emma, I'm allergic to all sorts of lovely things...give her a squeeze for me. Jordan is all "hip and cool" like Zack..teenagers. Noah has the most beautiful eyes.

Poor Emma!!!...Hope she is better today!!

Ugh, just closed the darn window and lost my post! :tantrum:

Stevi, You look great girl!! Keep up the good work!

Mel, Great pics! Poor Emma...hope she's feeling better soon! Jordan looks like a typical teen and Noah's a doll!

Welcome Vanilla!

Have a great day all!!

wannaBsize7 08-29-2006 09:04 AM

Hey there Vanilla, You came to the right place for support. My solution to grazing at night is... go to bed LOL. Give yourself a shut off time, and make sure your full at that point, and of course drink plenty of water. Another thing, if you find that sitting in front of the TV makes you wanna snack, try changing you evening activity. (easier said then done, I know :p ) Just jump on in here girl.

Stevi: :high: :wow: Your waist is tiny! You've done all this since April? You are an inspiration. It's taken me around the same amount of time to lose 11lbs. (actually in December I weighed the same as I do now, and I gained 10 lbs, and am just now back to were I started) but hey I'm not complaining, at least I'm losing again:cp:

Mel: Very cute Kids! I love the hair on your teen ;) And poor poor Emma. My husband used to have reactions like that. Our wedding was out in the woods on a creek bank, and sure enough, on our honeymoon The poison oak showed up. He was fine till the last day but ended up in the ER to get a shot in the butt. (I 'bout had to hold him down, the bigger they are, the bigger the baby they can be...lol) He would NOT appreciate that comment

Hey Girls!

Sorry I haven't posted...I've been lurking but extremely busy. I'm currently a "married-single-mom-of-four" as my husband is working CRAZY hours and might possibly be taking on a contract job overseas for a while. Ugh!! AND, I work full-time! I love my job and don't plan on quitting any time soon, but I've got to get all my kids to various school/sport functions, etc.....I'm not sure how I am going to be able to do it all......:dizzy:

I love all the pics!!!!!!

Stevi ~ YOU ROCK, GIRL!! You look "mawvalus!" (with accent) And absolutely beautiful. You have MUCH to be proud of......... :D

Vanilla ~ :welcome2: This is a great support group! As far as grazing...I agree with Wannabe. Just go to sleep! haha I know, I know-----I'm guilty of late night snacking. BUT--I've found that if I drink some water and get interested in something else, it gets easier every night. <good luck!>

Melody ~ Great kids! Your daughter looks absolutely precious! Sorry about the swelling! Hope it gets better. I have found that my oldest boys (teens) are SO GOOD with my youngest! Is that true for you? It looks like he's helping his little bro in the first pic.

Better run..........got a million things to do today!
Have a wonderfuly day girls!

mamabear272 08-29-2006 09:36 PM

 Fit, I totally understand the married, single mom thing. LOL My dh used to travel all the time to GA for work. Hasn't lately but he just told me that his boss asked him today if his passport was up to date. That can't be good. LOL :yikes:

Stevi, You look fabulous!! OMG chick! And congrats on the 2 lb loss! :cb:

Lauren, Congrats on your loss!! 1.6 is great!! :goodscale:

Mel, super cute kids! Poor Em though. Give her a hug for me.

Been busy as heck getting the kids ready for school. DS went today for orientation for Jr high and dd went yesterday for schedule pick up for HS. I couldn't sleep last night thinking about my poor little baby girl in that big bad high school. And ds I'm afraid is going to flounder in jr high. My babies!! And the man isn't going to do well when they go back. I think they should just stay here with me and be done with it! UGH. Anyway hi to everyone else. I'm outie for now. TTYL!

lppennington 08-29-2006 11:58 PM

Hello all! Stevie, you look absolutely grrrreat. (like Tony the Tiger) Mel, your kids are adorable too. Sorry about Emma, hope she is back to her old self soon.

Molly, they now have to have passports go to Canada, and that's not all that far. BTW, what schools are your kids going to? Do they like or dislike the new dress code?

Hello to everyone else, it is time for me to go to bed.

MelodyL 08-30-2006 06:58 AM

Hey everyone! Emma still looked at least as awful this morning when she got up as she did yesterday morning, but by bedtime she looked better, so I'm hoping tomorrow morning she looks a lot better, the poor thing. Thanks for all the well wishes. I had weigh in today and was up .2 of a pound, I am just so frustrated with my weight loss this last month or two, at this rate it will take me ten years to reach my goal.

Molly, I remember that feeling when my oldest started middle school and even a bit when he started High School. I've got a couple of years yet before Emma is middle school age (she starts third grade this year), but my little nephew starts middle school this year and my Mom is really worried about him being in middle school already because he's so small for his age. And Noah hated it when Emma and Jordan were gone to school and he was home all day, he's so excited to be starting school himself this year so he's not home without any kids, lol.

Fit, as a single Mom of 3, I can tell ya, I know it's not easy trying to figure out how to work and take care of the kids and figure out how to fit everything in. How long would your husband be overseas if he took on the contract? I hope things settle down a bit for ya soon.

Howdy to everyone else. It's almost 4am here and the insomniac is wide awake, yet tired. I am going to have to buy some sleeping pills tomorrow so I can get some sleep, maybe that will help me get out of this thinking all the time mode if I actually get some good sleep. ;)

squishy1234 08-30-2006 08:27 AM

I'm BAAACK! I went away to an island off Maine for the past 4 days. Hiked, canoed, walked and ATE but DIDNT gain! Yippee! I felt really good keeping up on the hikes and I know I couldnt have in the spring with that extra 13 lbs on me. I even race my 8yr old who has long filly-legs and can beat her! Small victories feel great cause I know it is the payoff for my work!

Mel- so sorry about kiddo- I had the same reaction to poison ivy when I was a kid and my mom remembers people staring at her like she had beaten me when she took me to the ER! It is bad!

Well, off I go to do laundry and grocery shopping after the vacation and get dd ready for 1st day of school tomorrow!

Holyteror 08-30-2006 08:59 AM

oh my............i must've clicked on something b/c I ended up with 40 something windows that kept popping up with this website on it. How weird.

How are you all doing???

Stevi-rocks 08-30-2006 12:13 PM

Hey all!
DS#1 started High school this morning. I don't worry a bit about him. He was very eager to go. I've never seen so many people dropping their kids in one place! Pick up oughta be a blast. I'm sooo tired, I'm gonna see if this baby won't take his nap now.ZZzzzZZZZzzzzzz....

Sir Farnsworth Blump 08-30-2006 12:17 PM

Howdy! I'm new here, but hoping to find some support in my weight-loss journey. I have gained over 100 pounds since I was married in 1997, and am looking to lose most, if not all of that. I am officially starting WW-At-Home on 9/1/2006 and am hoping to convince hubby to join with me. He has much less weight to lose, but it will be easier to do it with a partner.

I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you better.

Blump
