3.45 a wk.... HELp!!!!!!
 
:( I am going to FL. the 3rd wk in Nov. Went to Fitday and I have to loose 3.45 a wk to get to 150lbs. What is the average weight loose per wk. Is this even possibe...? I want so bad to look good when we go to disney. :?:

0.5 to 2 pounds per week is considered healthy weightloss. Any exercise planned in there? That will help you look better faster. . .

3.45 pounds per week seems just a bit extreme for me, and quite possibly self-defeating.

Also remember that whatever your goal, you will look and feel better then than you do now . . . even if you lose a pound a week you will have still lost a TON of weight!

If you workout everyday you will look a lot different by the time you go in Nov. You will feel alot better also. If you continue to eat better and workout daily,at least 5 days a week, you will lose more than just weight...you will lose INCHES!!! And to me inches is better than weight. Good luck

Figure out how much you need in calories a day. (bmr)
Then subtract 500 calories from that. That will have you losing 1 pound a week.

Any exercise is weight lost on top of that. 500 calories burned a day extra is another pound a week lost.

You can tweak the calories/exercise as needed/tolerated.

I have heard up to 3 pounds a week is considered healthy weight loss.

Like everyone said, being healthy and on track until November may not have you at the goal you had set for yourself, but no matter what you WILL look and feel better than you do now. :) That is 3 months away, you can do a lot in 3 months even if you can't lose over 3 pounds a week on a regular basis.
