Hi All,
Well, I got a new job! It's not as high level and challenging as the other one would've been, but it's a lot better than what I'm doing (making labels, copying!)!! It's asst. to the training & staff development department. It's being considered a parallel move as far as grade and salary, because what I'm making is much higher than what the position normally pays, but they got approval to keep my salary...not that I would've taken the job if they dropped my salary. It sounds fairly busy, and it is a pretty important position because whenever someone comes to audit us, particulary the FDA, they want to see our training files. So everything has to be in perfect order for just in case. I think that the position will probably evolve over the next year, in a good way, so that makes me hopeful. Rabbit- Sorry about the gain, but at least you are aware why and can fix it!! On the bathing suit subject...I have a two piece tankini that I bought while on the honeymoon, because I forgot to pack my bathing suit. I like it, it's a regular bottom (not shorts) and a tank top. It's navy w. a couple stripes across the chest, which actually is slimming, surprisingly. I like it because it's much easier to go to the bathroom when you don't have to completely undress, especially in a wet suit!! Gotta run!! Have a great afternoon!! |
LBH-Never thought of that with the SUIT. But good point. I think I will like that much better.
RoadRunner-Oh I just love the picture of you and SD#2 and Barney. It is just precious. Rabbit-sorry about the gain. But you can get rid of tha. LBH-Yeah on the new job. Hope you like it. the weather sucks here today. But that is okay. We have 2 super hot days. And this weekend is suppose to be nice. Headed to the baseball game on Sunday. Hi All,
I am soo freaking bored...it's 4:30 and I have a 1/2 hr. left. :dz: :yawn: Just cornered the facilities guy in the hall and told him what cube I want to be in. The cube that the current person in my new position is in is not going to be available because the data mgmt. group is taking it over. I picked a nice corner window cube in the back...actually it's in the front of the building. It's quieter back there, and I want to have them move the wall so that the entrance to the cube is by the window, not the aisle. (It's the little things that do a lot for me!!) :lol: Man, it's a good thing I don't have any crap food here, because I think I would eat everything in site!! I'm hungry and bored. Need some ideas on free food!! Think I will be sneaking out early...I can't take this!! Computer at home is still broken, DH took a 1/2 day to try and get it working. Have a great weekend all!! |

I weighed in today and lost 2.5 lbs, which puts me at 206.5 lbs. I made my birthday goal of 207! YAY! Really, it's probably not a "true" loss in total. I ate Chinese last night and something didn't agree with me in a BIG way. By midnight, most of what I had eaten had come back up. I figure it'll all balance out with next week's WI (in Houston - I leave tomorrow morning bright and early.) My next goal is 203 by July 4th, then 197 (my 10% goal) by July 27th. Lauren-I am with you on yesterday. My gosh that day could not get any longer if it tried. The last hour I was so bored. Yet did not want to do anything. I went to get a snack downstairs and forgot my money. So I did not bother. Good thing cause then I had pizza and beer for dinner. Yea good OP foods. But hey I had to watch the LAKERS take Philly.
Busy weekend here. Going to watch BJ play ball, buy food,shoes and clothes. Go to the brewer game tomorrow. So I have to go to work on Monday just to relax. Right now I am washing so we have stuff to wear this weekend. Next week is busy too. But hey that is what summmer all about. Got to enjoy it now cause it does not last for long here. Well spent the morning with SD#2 at the doctors..Croup..upper resp infection, ear infection, sinus infection..Hmmmm...glad the man is worth all this!!!:lol: Have a baby shower, birthday party, and an anniversary party(40 yrs) for my parents today..soo I must gain control early!!!:devil: Have a nice weekend all!!
