30-Somethings: Goals for week of May 8th

  • Hey everyone....

    I really feel the need to list my goals, as I think this is an integral part of my WL journey...

    My goals from last week:

    1) Gym 5x this week Goal Attained
    2) push-ups, sit-ups, and resistance bands 4x this weekpush-ups 3x, sit-ups and resistance bands 0x
    3) No eating after 6:30pGoal Attained
    4) No second helpingsGoal Attained
    5) No chips,cookies or candyGoal Attained
    6) Snack only on fruits and vegetablesGoal Attained

    A 3# loss this week!!!


    o.k. so I did well on all but goal #2, in which I failed miserably!! This week it's top priority, goal #1

    My goals this week:

    1) push-ups, sit-ups and resistance bands 4x
    2) gym 5x
    3) No second helpings
    4) No chips, cookies, candy
    5) Snack only on fruits and vegetables

    ** if I can meet ALL of my goals this week, I will be allowed to have one scoop of "real" ice cream on Sunday night **

  • Last Week's Goals:
    1. Drink a gallon of water a day - Done! (most days)
    2. Go to Curves at least 2x (don't think I'll make it 3x this week) - Done!

    This Week's Goals:
    1. Drink a gallon of water a day
    2. Go to Curves 3x
    3. No fast food
  • Back to basics:
    I am going to list my goals for today.
    Oatmeal with blueberries and skim milk for breakfast
    Apple for snack
    1 egg, 1 slice of cheddar, 1 piece of toast for lunch, tomatoes and spinach
    Go-gurt for snack
    Potstickers (steamed), with veggies for dinner
    Lemon pudding for dessert.

    Water, water, water.
    Run for 40 minutes or elliptical for 45 minutes (depending on dh's schedule)
  • Last week went ok until I stopped tracking on Thurs night, I just didn't get around to it, and surprise surprise my eating went South big time! I haven't weighed myself but I think the news could be ok when I do as I really only overate on Sunday and also kept up the water and exercise. I have been slipping into the old wine-drinking habits again too. Therefore.......
    GOALS FOR THE WEEK 08/05
    1. TRACK. Carry that little notebook everywhere if I have to
    2. 5x exercise (at least 30 min cardio)
    3. ONE glass of wine (that's ONE, not any more than one) x 4 this week (T W Th and Sun, I've already mucked up Monday LOL)
