Hi All,

I've got such Spring Fever!! :dancer: It was gorgeous out yesterday...even though I was inside most of the day wishing I was outside. Today isn't going to be quite as warm, I think only around 50°, but it's still nice.

I'm joining Curves tomorrow!! I'm soo excited to get back to exercising!! I went shopping last night and bought a new sweatsuit and a couple pairs of shorts to work out in. :D DH said as long as I'm productive about it, I could join. I'm going to do it month to month for a couple months, to make sure I'm going to go. Then when I'm convinced I'll keep going, I'll switch to yearly and then I can roam around to other locations. THere are 2 near me, and I have to decide which one to go to. THere's also one near work. I think I will join the one that's on the way home though, because it's a nice one, big bathroom/mini-locker room, and just looks nicer. The one closest to my house the girl was really nice, but the place looked kind of thrown together. I haven't visited the one closest to work, because I think it's owned by the same people that own the one I used to go to...and I hated them because the girl, who was like 5', 90 lbs., would sit there with her DD coffee and donuts or pastry of some kind, on the phone chatting with her friends the whole time, instead of helping! GRR...

Hope everyone is doing well!! And where are you all...please come out of lurkdom at least to say a quick hi!!

Hey Chicks!!
Great job, Lauren, committing to curves. I think that will be awesome for you!

Ladyhawke, I understand about the hohos. I was attacked by some leftover Easter chocolate today...as long as I account for it with other calories and exercise, I will be okay I think.

Hi Karen, Momadance and RR: What I like about our 30 somethings group is that most of us have small kids. Boy can I commiserate with both the fun and the frustration of exercising, etc. Glad to hear you and Alex had fun with the egg hunt, Karen.

Hi Lisa, Don't study too hard!!

I am mentally preparing for my trip to DC. I have requested a refrigerator for our room so I can get skim milk, fruit, cheese, turkey, etc. to try to control my calorie consumption. Eating out 3 times a day for a week could be a recipe for disaster. I will also bring my exercise gear and check out the gym and also run around DC (literally...maybe not AROUND it, but you all know what I mean! ) Lots of water, too! Wish me luck!

Jen, what are the dates you'll be in DC? If you're going to be there over a weekend, I would love to do a roadtrip and meet up with you one day! I have a friend in Fairfax that I can stay overnight with.

Ok, since I had the total collapse in will power this morning. I have made good choices the rest of the day. Fruit, yogurt Cracker Jack rice cake and I'm making tacos for dinner. I should be ok for the rest of the night. But I still do have flex points that I haven't used. I'm trying to keep it all in perspective.

Lauren- I did Curves for quite awhile then they changed their hours and had to bail, but it was great while it lasted. Good Luck!! :lucky:

Jen- great idea and thinking ahead for your trip

Well, ladies time for me to jet outta here. Hope to talk to everyone tomorrow!!

Heather, good for you getting back on track!

I'm having an apple and natural PB this AM. Never had the natural kind before, it's OK, but I don't like chunky PB. One of the girls i work with gave me some. It's pretty good, considering I'm usually a Jif girl! I don't know what the cal/fat are for it, but it's got to be better. An added plus is that it's not as sticky and therefore I don't have to worry about the phone ringing right after I take a bite!

Have a great day all!

midwife, I haven't studied hardly at all. This is my spring break and I have taken it to mean vacation. (Even though I really should be studying.)

I am still getting over this stupid Broncitis. I have a little bit more to go. Wouldn't ya know, just in time to go back to school.

Hi Lauren,
You are so sweet to offer to come down, but I will be in conferences most of the week and have a bit of sightseeing time pretty tightly scheduled. So, enjoy those babies of yours at home and have a relaxing weekend. :) I'll let you all know how the trip goes.

Jen
