Default Week of **April 4**

Good Afternoon ladies!!

Alex slept until 10:30 this morning (9:30 old time) and then hung out in bed with us until 11. We are getting a late start on the day. I'm glad because I actually saw the time change this morning. I have an atomic clock so it does the change automatically. It went from 1:59 to 3:00. I will be *so* glad when Alex sleeps through the night. I really need for that to happen soon. He's up to nurse every 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I dread trying to wean him.

OK, I'm needed. Be back later.

Hi All!

Karen, Wow, he's still nursing that often?! I think I would've shot myself by now if Peter was nursing like that at Alex's age! Does he eat good during the day? I wonder if that has anything to do with it, or is it just a comfort thing...you still co-sleep right?
I was awake during the time change too. Peter woke up at 1:40 and didn't go back to sleep til 2:40 (3:40) He woke up at 7:30...really 8:30, and was really clingy. Hate to say it, but the was he's crying and acting, I think it's his ears again. He's running a low grade fever today too.

Jackie, Hope the rat left your garage!! I'd be freaked out to! We had a problem with mice here last year. I was finding droppings in my silverware drawer every AM! Got to the point where I got sick of washing the silverware everyday, so I ran it through the dishwasher and left it in there! Finally I put it in plastic cups on the counter. After awhile, we caught a few and finally they were gone. We struggle with ants sometimes too, since we're on ground level. I am constantly scrubbing the kitchen floor...it's harder of course with Peter throwing stuff on it too!

Yes, it's a very strange set-up here. The only way they get away with renting this way is because the people upstairs do not have a kitchen. There's a full, brand new kitchen up there, but no appliances. Each bedroom has a microwave and mini-fridge. We have a full kitchen down here.

You would freak if you saw the house prices and what you get for it around here. Since we're soo close to NYC, prices are crazy. The taxes in our town are actually very low for our county, but the house prices are crazy all around here. I'm leaving for the open house in a little while, I'll let you all know how it is!

I can't believe it's supposed to snow here later too! It's not even that cold out here right now...but it is cloudy...was blue skies and sunny this AM.

Hello again!

RR: I'm so glad that Kaylee's CT scan was good. I know that is a relief to you. Glad that DH did well with the girls.

Jack: Yuck on the rat!! I hate rats and mice. We were looking at them in the pet store and DH was saying how much he likes them. {{{Shudder}}}
If he and the boy decide they want rats they will have to take care of them and make sure they DO NOT get out of the cage. Yuck, Yuck, Yuck.

Sorry Noodles!!

Lauren: Creepy!! We had a neighbor murdered when we live in the apt. I know how you feel with the cops there and stuff. I hope you guys get to get a house soon. It sucks when you aren't happy where you live. I was so happy to get out of that apt. Hope the open house was fun. Yeah, I can't believe it's supposed to snow here later. We had to reschedule the Mom's Club easter egg hunt because of the weather.

Hope everyone is having a super terrific day.

Hey, just a quickie...

The house was TINY!! The basement had 5' ceilings!! It also needed a lot of work. We both agreed that even if the house was in perfect condition, it was waaay too small. Oh well, at least I got it out of my system.

Sometime over the last 1 1/2 wks., I lost 1.5 lbs.!! WooHoo!! Let's see if I can keep up that trend!

Have a great day all!

Just a real quick hi.......................on the way to inlaws for a little while

Well we set the trap last night and this morning , we captured a little field mouse. I really hated to do that because he was cute, but I knew I did not want to have a bunch of those little wild critters running around. We are going to set another tonite and make sure their are no more running around.
I just want to say to Noodles if you are lurking, sorry about my mouse story, and hope I did not offend you.

Lauren: I'm with you on the not wanting a tiny house and will keep my fingers crossed that you will find a house you both like. Good Luck!

Karen: Was today the day they were coming to work on your room? Forgive me if I have it wrong. Hope you are having a super de duper day!!!

RR & Rabbit: Hello..................................... How was you all's weekend?

Well gotta run, DS just ran out the door with some extra money to buy me something off the ice cream truck. I am PMSing and need something sweet!!!!

See ya all later

Hi guys,

Hope everyone has had a super great day. It's passover so we had to go to DH's aunt's house for dinner. I spent the whole evening in the kitchen with the baby. Whoopie. DH hated being in the room with the others so he joined me there for dinner.

Jack: Yep, the guy was here today. He didn't finish so I don't have my chute yet!! Oh, it's going to be in a closet so hopefully Alex won't be throwing toys down it!! At least for awhile. Glad you caught the mouse. I grew up with them in the country and I absolutely hated them. Dad squished one in my bureau drawer by accident and whew. Talk about GROSS.

Lauren: Sorry the house was yucky. Move down here by me and you can get a house just like mine!! LOL. All the houses in my neighborhood look just alike.

RR and Rabbit: Hope you had great weekends.

Karen--OMG--does he eat food during the day?? He should be sleeping longer~~ Kaylee is up to 12-14 hours of sleep..I would be miserable by now...

Jackie--I am with u on the rat story...I hate them!!!

Just a quick hi to all..............................I am off to work for a few hours tonite. Our new server came in last week, so hopefully, next week I will officially be able to work from home in the evenings. Don't know if I told you all or not, but the computer person was in need of a job and so my boss has hired her to help me along with fixing our computers as needed. I am still in shock and having a hard time believing that I will have another person to help me. I am giving her all my account billings to do and month end along with some other stuff. Her goal for me is to eliminate as much after hours work as she can from me. Now that's what I call a super helper! Anyways I am very excited about her and hope things work out for the best and she stays with us.

Hope everyone is having a good day!!!!!!

Hi guys,

Things here are so-so. I've been feeling bad the past couple of days. I'm just nauseous. So, of course you know what's going through my mind...pg. I'm on Micronor and still haven't had a period. I'm probably making myself sicker than I would be worrying. I'm thinking of running out later for a test. The handyman has been here all day or else I would have gone earlier.

RR: He eats everything in site during the day. I guess I'm going to have to start letting him cry it out but I so don't want to. I would love to sleep for 3 straight hours. I'm so jealous of 12 - 14 hours!!

Jack: Yeah on the assistant!! Sounds like she is going to be a real help. You will be able to relax and concentrate on your new house. You must be so excited.

Well, the laundry chute is in. It's a bit more intrusive than I had envisioned but I can't wait to try it out. The guy is still here finishing up some stuff. As soon as he leaves I'm going to try it out!! (Don't want to be flashing my undies while he's here.)

Hope everyone is having a super duper day.

Hi All,

Karen, Uh-oh!! Sure hope it's just a bug...or something you ate. LOL, I can just picture you being excited about doing laundry!! "Um, sorry girls, can't go out today, I have laundry to do!!"

Jackie, congrats on getting some help!! Hope she helps ease your load!

RR, yes, house prices are sickening around here! Like Karen said, even down by her they're better. Anywhere outside of the metro area is better!! What are your taxes there? Our town is one of the lowest in the county, even though the prices are high. I'm not sure what they are on the house we live in, but I'm guessing not too much over 3K, since the lot is about the same size as that house we looked at...a little bigger.

Getting my redone tonight!! WooHoo!! Hope I'm happier with it!

Hi everyone.....................................

Nothing much going on here other that packing for my trip this weekend. We are leaving @6:30AM Friday morning and will be back sometime on Monday afternoon. I need to get my butt in gear and stop playing ZUMA on msn games. That game is so addicting.

Karen: Hope you have fun with the laundry chute. I have been kinda nauseous the last couple days here and was thinking it must be a virus or so. It would be an act of god if I got pg as I am on the pill. Although I would be very excited and make the best of it and feel it was meant to be. Please don't wait as long as I have though, because it is harder to start all over again. Regardless though I hope the nausea goes away.

Lauren: Have you looked at anymore houses? How did your hair turn out the 2nd time around? I hope you like it.

Rabbit & RR: Hello..................................

If I do not get back here before I leave, you all have a great Easter and don't eat to much chocolate!

Hi guys,

Well, I'm not pg!! Yeah! The trips to the bathroom started this evening so I'm pretty sure it's either a bug or some bad milk. There was something hard and white in the bottom of my milk glass yesterday {{shudder}}. I took a test just to be sure and it was negative. I'll retest in the am just to be super sure tho.

The laundry chute is fun!! We were pouring all the dirty clothes down just now. It's right beside my dryer so I just put a hamper there. Course, it's overflowing now. The only thing I can see being a problem, is the baby's socks.

Lauren: Hope your hair turns out the way you wanted.

Jack: No more babies here!! I was just nervous since I haven't had a period in 21 months. Not that I have been missing them!

Karen: Sounds like you are happy your not pg. Glad things worked out for the best. I am sending get well wishes your way and hope that you are not sick for very long. It's no fun to be sick especially when you are a woman! I understand about your nervousness with lack of period, I get that way when I am a day late or so. I start getting a little excited but then releaved when it starts, if you know what I mean. I think we are done, but a part of me will always want a little girl.

GoodMorning All!!!
Karen--Yeah on the laundry chute!! I have to agree on the nauseaus, rundown feeling...I am not pg, although I am not on anything but I am too tired to get pg--AF was due yesterday, so I am sure that is what it is!!! We are just concentrating on Kaylee and the other two and I am getting the tubes tied next month..My period started when Kaylee was 11 months old!!

Well..crappy news struck again..I am soo tired of doctors..LEAVE MY BABY ALONE!!!!WE had the scan on Friday..we saw the opthamologist yesterday..She has underdeveloped optic nerves in one eye..So, I asked what could it be..then he explained it could be a pituitary disorder with growth hormone deficience(she is growing fine) , possibly something missing in her cerebellum of the brain, or just nothing..OMG---a$$hole--why even tell someone all that..way TMI!!!!WHat it does now is makes one eye crossed when she looks at something close..He said, not to worry because with the brain thing, they have eyes that flicker or seizures etc and she can see just fine..The way it is corrected is glasses for the next 1-2 years or do nothing and have surgery at 4 yrs..I chose the glasses...of course DH got mad because "they just know we have insurance and are looking for something" What do I do????I still love my baby with glasses!!Why is Kaylee getting hit over and over????Ok..off to work

Hi All,

I LOVE my hair!! It turned out soo good. He added more highlights, in a lighter honey color, so now there's the subtle ones and the new ones, so it looks very cool. Then he angled it down the sides, so I don't have the "page boy" look anymore...thank goodness!! He also added more layers, still long, but just a little more. Of course then he blew it out and curled the ends up with the iron,so it was bouncy and cute...which of course I could not replicate this AM!! I'm such a moron with the curling iron!!

RR, Doctors just suck!! I'm sure she'll look adorable with glasses!

Karen, Glad you got the negative result you wanted! AF came back here at 7 month PP. Hope you're feeling better today! I meant to tell you, the Easter party at the firehouse is Saturday, if you guys are around and want to come. They dye eggs and color pics. We'll have hotdogs and snacks. The Easter bunny will be there too, but I think this year he's going to be an Easter Bunny fireman, because the guy that wears the costume gained too much weight to fit into it this year!! So he's just wearing the head and hands with his fire gear. It starts at 12:30.

Have a great day all!
