  • Photobucket seems pretty easy to use, if you want to try that. Do you have an editing program, like Photoshop or PSP that you use to edit the size of your pics? I know there's a free online image editing program, can't think of the name of it right now.

I decided not to start a "week of" thread this week, because nobody posts anymore, except you on your journal thread and us moms. I guess we've kind of lost our steam. Oh well, hopefully we won't lose touch completely! Even though we don't get to talk to you often, it's nice to know you're still around!
  • HI lauren!

Thanks for the info. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I added a picture to an album at photobucket but my pic didn't show up on my journal. I just got that "red x".

I've noticed that no one posts on the week of thread anymore. Was there a new person recently? Has it been just you, Karen, and RR posting? I didn't know if anyone else had been around.

  • What link that they give you are you using? I copied the "Image" link and pasted it into a post and that's it. Try that, if you didn't already.
  • Ok, I tried that yesterday and am not sure what I did wrong. I copied the image thing then I came on here to a message and clicked on "insert image". But then a little bar comes up and I couldn't paste to it. So then I went back to look at photobucket and typed everything in that it said in IMAGE. And that's when I got the red x.

  • Just copy the "image" link and past it into a post. Don't add any brackets or [img] things around it. It's already in the link.

Wait, this is what I put in, without the spaces:

  • It worked! Thanks Lauren! I guess what I did wrong was to click on 'insert image'.

    That's my Christmas tree.

  • Gorgeous tree Rabbit! How big is it? Love the little red Santa boots!
  • Thanks Lauren. I guess it's about 12 ft. The santa boots are paper mache; I thought they were cute too.

Now that I know how to do this picture thing, I'd like to do my own avator (?) one of these days. But what pic to use, hmmm.
