Default **~April Weigh-In Thread~**

Hello fellow 30-somethings! Welcome to the April weigh-in thread. You are free to copy and paste the form below into your own post to keep track of your weigh-ins or you can make your own form. You don't even have to weigh-in daily to post here. You can weigh in twice a week, once a week, every other week or just at the beginning and end of the month - whatever you feel comfortable with. I'm looking forward to seeing your big losses (or gains if that is what you are aiming for) as the month goes on.

The Coronavirus shutdown has been a nightmare for me. The first week (mid-March), my dog got very sick. Turns out she had a slipped disc in her back and she has diabetes. I'm single and my dog is my best friend and I can't imagine losing her, especially when I'm stuck at home all the time. My anxiety was through the roof for weeks after her diagnosis. It was so bad that I had to force myself to eat. I had gained around 12 lbs on my vacation in February but I quickly lost that due to stress. I'm still having a hard time controlling the anxiety. I've been taking CBD oil which has helped but it is very expensive. Finances have been stressful as well. I had to borrow money from my parents to pay for my dog's vet appointments, insulin and syringes. My dog needs two insulin shots a day - 12 hours apart - after a meal. That means that I have to get up earlier in the morning than I'm used to. I can't seem to get used to this new schedule. I'm exhausted all the time. I try going to bed early but I can't sleep. Another thing that has freaked me out recently, my dad is a lung cancer survivor and he would probably die if he got Coronavirus. I can't even think about it without crying. I would be utterly alone in the world if my parents died. And they are getting older by the day, as am I. The thought freaks me out. Anyways, enough of this doom & gloom. The reason I'm starting this thread is that I want to feel better. I think exercising and losing some weight would help me control the anxiety. I also want to start dating when the shutdown is over (never dated before and it scares me but I need to try) and I want to feel confident about by body.
