I'm back after a 3 month hiatus!

I did great at losing weight up until my vacation in October. Then it all unraveled. After we got back from vacation, which was all food & drinks, it was Halloween with all the candy which we had a ton of leftovers and ate them until Thanksgiving. Of course, Thanksgiving had all the delicious comfort food like turkey and stuffing and then there were leftovers from that. Plus, I usually start holiday baking at the beginning of December. So the entire month of December was eating Christmas cookies and candies as well as finishing off the Thanksgiving leftovers. It was a disaster for me weight-wise. I somehow gained over 20 lbs in just 3 months. Crazy! It took me almost 2 years to lose 20 lbs (lots of stalls and small gains here and there) and they can just fly back on in a few short months. Ugh! It's frustrating but there's nothing I can do about it except just get back to dieting. Anyways, I'm going on vacation again at the end of February and I'd like to get back under 200 (for the millionth time).

21. 208.6 lbs (

22. 206.8 lbs (

23. 205.2 lbs (
-1.6)
24. 205.2 lbs (
0) - I'm really happy about this. Yesterday was my brother & SIL's birthdays (they share the same birthday) so we went to a pizza buffet to celebrate. I managed to stay under 1400 calories for the day but I was still worried about weight gain from the salt. Glad to see the scale remain steady.
25. 206.2 lbs (
+1.0) - This is fine. I weighed in early in the day so I expected a little gain.
26. 206.2 lbs (

27. 206.2 lbs (

I don't know what I'm doing wrong! I was starving all day yesterday and wouldn't let myself eat anything that wasn't on my plan because I didn't want to go over my calories. I drank a ton of water and exercised despite being exhausted. I don't understand why I'm not losing. I weigh my food out on a food scale so I know I'm not overestimating. I get plenty of sleep. I just don't get it. This is what frustrates me about weight loss. It took me over a year to lose 18 pounds and then I gain 20 in less than 3 months. It is probably going to take me another year to get back to where I was which was still 50 lbs overweight. Ugh!!

30. 204.8 lbs (
-1.4) - FINALLY!! That's what I wanted to see!
31. 204.8 lbs (
0) - This is a surprise. I went out to eat last night at Buffalo Wild Wings. I stayed under my calorie limit (shared a grilled chicken sandwich and fries with my mom) but the fries had a ton of salt. I was actually expecting a gain so I'm happy with this number.
