**~August Weigh-In Thread~**

Hello fellow 30-somethings! Welcome to the August weigh-in thread. You are free to copy and paste the form below into your own post to keep track of your weigh-ins or you can make your own form. You don't even have to weigh-in daily to post here. You can weigh in twice a week, once a week, every other week or just at the beginning and end of the month - whatever you feel comfortable with. I'm looking forward to seeing your big losses (or gains if that is what you are aiming for) as the month goes on.

Total August Weight Loss:

July started off kind of bad, then got good, then ended on a bad note. It started off with me feeling really crappy. TOM came at the beginning of the month and really messed with my feelings (and appetite). I got past that and had a really good week. I got into the 180's which was awesome. The third week of the month was crazy. My aunt and grandma were coming to visit July 23-24 and then my realtor was coming for a visit on the 25th (not selling/buying, she's just a friend and wanted to see the updates I've been doing). I had a lot to do to get ready and was very stressed. I was too busy working on cleaning up the house and finishing small projects to worry about my diet. I'm also a big time stress eater. I ate whatever I could find whenever I had a free moment. Of course, with my aunt and grandma here, we had a lot of junk food. After the realtor left on Sunday, I thought, "I can finally get back on track with my diet." but, guess what? TOM decided to rear it's ugly head. Another bad week to end the month. I still somehow managed to lose 1.5 lbs in July. I'm hoping for a much bigger loss in August. My aunt wants the entire family to go camping the last weekend in August so we'll see how that goes. I've got just over 2 months before my vacation to Bermuda and I would love it if I could lose another 10 lbs.

7. 188.8 lbs (0) - This is starting to get annoying. Why am I not losing?
8. 188.8 lbs (0) - Where is my whoosh? :club:
9. 187.0 lbs (-1.8) - There it is! :cp:
10. 189.0 lbs (+2.0) :?: :?: :?:
11. DNW - Had a piece of pizza for lunch and was worried about the salt/water weight gain.

Weekly Weight Loss: +1.1
Monthly Weight Loss: -0.7

12. 189.9 lbs (+0.9) - This sucks. I've weighed all my food at every meal, stayed at or below my calorie goal every day except Saturday when I went about 300 calories over, I exercised every day and drank plenty of water. How in the world did I gain? Especially when I ate like crap the week before and lost weight. I don't understand. I give up. I'll still eat at my calorie goal - 1300 - and I'll still exercise but I'm not going to weigh myself again until right before I go on vacation in October. I can't deal with this madness.

Ive not done the ketogenic diet. I count calories. I eat what I want, but in moderation. I don't deprive myself, but am attempting to hold back on chocolate.

.I'm sorry about you going through a rough time. I am learning to go with what I know about myself or a situation
