Default **~May Weigh-In Thread~**

Hello fellow 30-somethings! Welcome to the May weigh-in thread. You are free to copy and paste the form below into your own post to keep track of your weigh-ins or you can make your own. You don't even have to weigh-in daily to post here. You can weigh in twice a week, once a week, every other week or just at the beginning and end of the month - whatever you feel comfortable with. I'm looking forward to seeing your big losses (or gains if that is what you are aiming for) as the month goes on.

I thought April would be a good month for me but I was wrong. I did great for the first half of the month but then it got nice outside and my parents wanted to have BBQ on the weekends. Instead of limiting my calories the rest of the day, I would say "Screw it. It's the weekend. I'll eat whatever I want." and proceed to pig out on all kinds of junk. Easter was the worst. I ate a whole bag of Recess PB Cup eggs in one sitting. Ugh! I thought I was getting back on track last week but then my mom wanted me to go with her to visit my grandfather in Iowa - a 5 hour drive each way which means fast food for lunch and supper. I had the most delicious DQ Blizzard and chicken strips for lunch and then had pizza for supper. Yummy! I paid for it on the scale though. Hopefully I'm over it and am back on track for good. Since I didn't lose the 6 lbs I was aiming for last month, I would really like to lose 9 lbs this month.

GW: 185.0 lbs (-9)

May

1. 194.0 lbs (-1.2)
2. 193.2 lbs (-0.8)
3. 193.2 lbs (0)
4. 193.4 lbs ( +0.2)
5. 195.0 lbs ( +1.6) - This gain has to be water weight. Supper last night was Red Lobster and it was really salty. Although I went over my calorie goal yesterday, I stayed below my TDEE (maintenance).

Total Weekly Loss: -1.8
Total May Loss: +0.2 - I don't understand. I did amazing all week except for supper Saturday night.

6. 194.2 lbs (-0.8)
7. 194.2 lbs (0)
8. DNW - I'm constipated plus my diet hasn't been going well. I really need to get the rice krispie bars out of the house - I can't control myself around them.
9. 195.6 lbs (+1.4)
10. DNW

Total Weekly Loss: +1.4
Total May Loss: +1.6

13. 195.6 lbs (0) - This is surprising. I thought for sure I had gained a bunch - figured 5 lbs at least - especially since I went to Arby's on Saturday and KFC on Sunday.

Talking Newbie

Hi Everyone!
I have been a yo-yo dieter for what feels like ever. As of March I was at my highest, and then it was time to really focus. Side note: clearly getting a tattoo on my wrist that literally says "focus" did not make me put the Taco Bell or Spicy Cheetos down.

Anywho, I started dieting on my own on March 20th and then a few weeks later I started the HCG diet. I'm officially -26 lbs I started using their forums but there isn't much activity there and I'm really needing a place to distract me from crazy cravings. Crazy thing is, this diet literally removes physical hunger completely. But mentally / emotionally cravings are no joke!

I'm also not that familiar with this site and not sure if it's geared towards any specific diet or weight loss strategy, but I really hope I am welcome here

Happy May to all!
