**~November Weigh-In Thread~**

  • I hope everyone had a great October. I didn't see a November daily weigh-in thread so I thought I'd start one. Everyone is welcome to join in and track your daily weight loss. You can copy and paste the form below or make one of your own.

  • October was a great month for me but my loss slowed down a lot towards the end of the month. I'm really hoping to get to 195 before November 25th which is my grandparent's 60th anniversary party. I think I can get there if I continue to eat within my calorie range and don't completely pig out on Thanksgiving. I think I also need to start adding in some cardio everyday to boost my weight loss. I think I'll try to get to 10,000 steps on my FitBit each day (currently average 3k a day) and maybe do an exercise DVD 3 times per week.

    GW: 194.4 lbs (-10 lbs - Wow! I'll be lucky if I hit this.)

    1. 204.4 lbs (-0.2) - Waiting for a big whoosh. Should come any day now.
    2. 204.0 lbs (-0.4) - Not the huge whoosh I was waiting for but I'll take it.
    3. 204.4 lbs (+0.4) - I might have to start weighing in weekly. The up and downs are depressing me and making me doubt myself. I really wanted to lose 3 lbs this week to make up for last week's small loss but I can't even manage to lose 1/2 a lb to get under 204.
    4. DNW - A lot of junk food yesterday (& today). Scared for weigh-in on Monday but I'll be back on plan so next week's weigh-in will be better.

    5. 205.8 lbs (+1.4) - I'm not even upset. I ate pretty badly this past weekend (Pizza Hut - Yum!). I went grocery shopping today so I have lots of healthy foods to eat this week.

    9. 203.2 lbs (+1.0) - My parents brought over a bucket of KFC - my kryptonite. This gain is probably just water weight since I don't think I went too far over my calorie limit.

    12. 205.2 lbs (+2.6) - This is my fault. I went crazy yesterday and ate chicken fingers, french fries, candy, pizza and cookies. I'm determined to lose this weight though. I won't let this momentary lapse of judgement ruin my progress. Still, I feel like

    14. 204.4 lbs (-0.4) - Why does it take so long to lose weight but hardly takes any time to gain? I'm a little frustrated that it only took one day to go from 202.6 to 205.2, yet I have been back on plan for three days and I'm only back down to 204.4. I thought for sure I would be back to 202.6 by now or even lower. Ugh!

    22. 202.0 lbs (+0.2)- - Ate Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. Mom didn't want to cook so we went out to a sit-down restaurant and I had turkey, stuffing, potatoes, coleslaw, dinner roll and a slice of pumpkin pie w/ whipped cream. I didn't eat anything else all day and I doubled my steps in order to stay under my calorie limit. Hoping to see a big loss on Monday - although TOM is right around the corner which might screw that up.

    26. 202.8 lbs (+1.0) (TOM) - I don't know how to feel about this. I'm obviously bummed that I gained this week, however, after all the crap I ate yesterday at my grandparent's anniversary party, I'm happy that I only gained a pound. I'm going to try my hardest to get under 200 lbs by the end of the month.

    29. 203.0 lbs (+0.4) - I just don't get it. I'm staying under my calories, getting plenty of water & sleep, getting my steps in and I haven't eaten anything salty. I worked my butt off last week only to gain a pound and now I'm still gaining despite doing everything right. I think I'm going to stop weighing in - at all - for a month. In December, I think I'm going to stick to my calorie limit, drink plenty of water, get my steps in every day and then weigh myself in January to see how much I lost - if anything.
