Default **April Weigh-Ins**

Wow, this year has really been flying by IMO. I hope everyone has a productive month.

I have to leave the country soon for a job, one supportive family member and another not so much. This is super stressful and new to me, but at the same time I know I need to get it over it for better opportunities/work experience in my field. I probably won't be able to weigh much this month. I might even lose more weight than expected because I will start out on such a tight budget trying to get a lot of bang for my buck without resorting to high carbs. I see lots of salad and scrambled eggs in my future.

Oops I started a thread not seeing yours! I hope this month goes good. It appears that the stomach flu has finally left our house. Worse one yet, I even had to take my kid to the ER for iv fluids to catch up on hydration. Hopefully I can finally focus a bit
I'm keeping my goals small because realistically with how sick the kids have been I have hardly any gym time. Normally I'd drop them off at gym day care but the there's been so many recent illnesses I just want to avoid any exposure to other kids I can right now, especially the 9 month old. Fingers crossed I can keep everyone healthy. Good luck to everyone this month!

I'm jumping back on the bandwagon after a long time off.

I'm going to weigh myself tomorrow as I like to weigh first thing in the morning and I'm planning on doing weekly weigh-ins rather than daily.

SW: 92.4kg
GW: 62kg

April Weigh ins:

10th April - 92.4kg
17th April - 90.8kg (-1.6kg!!!)

So I have been having some slip ups in my diet, but nothing really crazy. Tomorrow is the last day of the month which means weigh in day and of course, yesterday I started feeling a tickle in my throat. I woke up to a full blown sore throat as expected. I have been force sleeping all day in efforts to feel better since I have a soccer game tomorrow, monday and am having company the rest of the week. I know that my end weight is gonna suck bc I am full of liquid. I've been drinking tons of tea and water and cold medicine. I know this but at the same time I am anxious about weighing in tomorrow morning. Why? Why do I give the number on the scale so much power? Should I even bother weighing in tomorrow?
