A NSV today. I had been wearing some size 48 men's shorts over the summer because a) I didn't want to buy slightly smaller pants; and b) I had some size 42 (and smaller) waiting in my closet. Today, I am comfortably wearing my size 42 shorts again. Also, I am happy to report that my size 22W pants are too big. woohoo!

Wow!! Congrats!!
Are you going to hold onto the too big pants as a reminder? I got rid of mine last time I lost weight and maintained my goal weight a few years and kinda wish I'd held onto them.
Ally, when is your cruise? Where are you guys going?
We'te going to start planning a cruise to Mexico. Just a short 3-4 day one to try out because we've never gone. All I know is a balcony is a must for us!
Hello everybody, back to being serious about changing my lifestyle. Started again in March this year but of course if you don't make the right changes you don't get results so hear I am slowly getting things right. I know this is a slow journey for it to be a permanent journey, I need to remain consistent in my eating, exercising and motivation. I am turning 32 next year April so I pray I reach goal by then.
Weighed in at 174lb yesterday, my next weigh in date is 26 September. Got my food and exercise plan for the coming week sorted, now I just need to stick to it.
Is this normal? It seems like after months of steady progress day to day, now I am in a phase where I plateau for weeks and then woosh. Its kinda of annoying. I get hope that the plateau is broken, but then its another plateau cycle.
Hope it's okay to join this late. =) I may only weigh in once per week because I'm trying to break my addiction to my scale.

Yes, I do it it too. I go up and down and plateau. I guess when they say weight loss isn't linear, they really mean it! I got this app, happy scale. It's free, but it's helpful to me because it charts all my points but clearly graphs the downward trend too. It also helps predict when I'll hit a weight given my current rate of loss. I love it and it's so motivating! I usually only plug in my weight once a week

Almost at the end everybody. Everybody is doing great. I hope everybody hits their goal or comes close to it. I gained, but I am trying to stay positive and stick to it

I know how you feel. I'm 2-3 lbs higher than I got a month or two ago and seem to be stuck around that number. Staying positive and sticking to better habits is key. Maybe I also need to make some other little changes in order to see the results I want, I just don't know what those changes are yet.
