Needtolose,

Never been to Brazil (yet), but we spend a month in Peru last summer and loved it. I hiked my fat *** for four days up to Machu Piccu! It was the hardest thing I ever did! lol.

Our next vacation is pretty tame, a Caribbean cruise in Dec., but I think our next vacation will be Southeast Asia. I've been doing some research, so thats what accounts for my knowledge of some of the sites there.

I'm a Canadian married to an American too! I'm from Mississauga. I went to university in the States and met him here and stayed. I'm a chemical engineer. What city/provence do you live in?

I can't believe you hiked Machu Piccu that is awesome. I took the train up and we hiked Huanya Piccu and I couln't make it, my two fit friends went up to the top without me. My husband loves hiking, he started the Appalachian Trail before he went to Korea, but had to quit due to an injury so one of my goals is to go back to Peru and hike do the 4 day hike with him.

I currently live in Hamilton, but grew up in Mississauga and Oakville. What are the odds of that! So we're planning on walking from Hamilton to Toronto to get some distance in. We'll start by walking to the closest GO station and take the train back and just keep going further. My parents still live in Oakville so we'll stay there when we eventually do the full walk. We're hoping to do lots of escaprment hiking to get a bit of elevation change as well.

Starting weight 8/1=281
Goal weight=270
* The last 2 mos have sucked and I have not been focused. I hope I can stay on track this month and get out of the 280s instead of doing what I have been doing.

8/8= 284 (this is what happens when you binge and are on your menses) I may start weighing daily to be accountable for not binging which has been the usual lately. I will try it for one week
8/9= 280.8
8/10=281.2
8/11=281.2
8/12=281.2 (not even a tenth of a pound...)
8/13=281.6 I get what I ask for Got annoyed and had 3 slices of pizza for dinner oops. Back on track tomorrow
8/14= DNW
8/15=DNW
8/16= Scale broken DNW (should be getting my new replacement fitbit Aria in the mail in 5-8 business days. Let me work really hard to I can be pleasantly surprised with a loss when I get it.

8/22=280.0 (just prior to the scale dying on 8/16, I was 283 but wasn't sure if that was correct considering the scaled RIPd. New Aria arrived and I guess my work paid off a bit. Im back on track with my diet. I'll be happy with 275 by the end of the month )
8/23=279.2
8/24=280.3 So annoyed with this plateau
8/25=280.7
8/26=283.4. really starting to lose hope here. If I make 277 by the end of the month it'll be success. I don't know why getting out of the 280s is so hard
8/27= 281.3
8/28=280.2 Not too bad. I have to stick with this trend to ride out august
8/29=281.1 Argggggg
8/30=280.7, after my crazy 2 hour workout I was 279.6
8/31= 280.5. I guess August was another bad month. We'll see what I can do in September

OKAY, now I get a whoosh Weighed in today 9/1/15 at 274.5 WOOHOO!!!!!!!!

I was thinking I would have gained some weight since I pretty much ate whatever the heck I wanted the last few days. (McDonalds, Ritz crackers, sugar free cookies)... But I weighed today at 263.8 which is down 0.6 since my last weigh in.

Back to healthy food though. Good-bye carbs... see you in a few weeks.

Laifierr, I'm experiencing the same phenomenon. I demolished a demi baguette the other day and ended up - 0.4 this morning somehow. My carbs are going back down moving forward too!

I try to stay < 100, how about anyone else?
