SunnyDC you're doing great!

I'm so glad to finally make it to the 170s this month, just barely. I hadn't lost anything almost all of October and won't make my usual 5 lb goal. The weight has just started coming off this week, but not with ease. I had to start calorie counting. A couple of online sources are telling me to eat 1400 or between 1300 and 1500 to lose weight, and other sources are telling me that eating below my BMR isn't healthy, so I dunno. I don't want to undereat, but I want to get to a healthier weight. This method has been working so far this week, and I don't feel fatigued or starving so I guess I'm okay.

Monday weighed in at 175. Had an unofficial weigh-in on Thursday (I usually just weigh once a week with my trainer) with an extra training session that put me at 170, but I expect a bounce up on my usual Monday in a couple days since I completely lost my mind at the movies last night and ate popcorn, junior mints, twizzlers AND nachos (oops!), but hopefully I'll be heading back down in the week to follow

Do you ladies prefer your weight first thing in the AM or PM? I used to be all about first thing AM weigh ins, but I have discovered I seem to weigh more as the day goes on so I am using PM weigh ins to be more realistic about my current weight.

Thoughts?

I tend to weigh in the AM figuring that's really my weight before adding the weight of the food (not the calories, but the food's actual weight). But the difference is probably not all that much in the big picture. Just a mind thing with preference maybe
