Fighting the 150s - Anyone else??

I've been 159.X for a few days now and today I weighed in at 158.4. So I think I'm truly here now. Yay! But now that I'm here I think it's time to work on getting out of them. ;)

Who else is in the 150s boat??

CleverName 11-08-2013 11:07 PM

I am. Currently at 156.0, and am planning on blasting through to the 140's pretty quickly!

Secret Swan 11-09-2013 12:00 AM

Me! I'm at 155, although that was enough of a whoosh that it might wahoos back up in a day or so. I'm so hungry for the 140s I can taste it!

WannaB2cute 11-09-2013 01:27 PM

I've been back and forth between 157-162 for TWO MONTHS :(

fafram1 11-10-2013 12:35 PM

I've been between 158-155 forever and it's really discouraging me. I really want to get into the 140s by the end of this year.

CleverName 11-14-2013 01:54 AM

Weighed in at 154.8 this past Monday, down from 158.0 the week before. TOM is here this week, so I'll see how my WI is next week.

I hit the 150's on Christmas Eve last year, maintained for a few months, got down to 146 in June, but then put on almost 15 lbs. Now back down to 154-ish, and determined this time. :)

Kscotty1976 11-22-2013 09:50 PM

I keep going back and forth between 152 and 157! Had my 5th child in April and within 3 weeks I lost all 30 lbs and was back to my 146 pre pregnancy weight. Then, out of no where it started piling back on :( so upsetting. Makes me think its hormonal or out of my control but I can't think like that. Or I'll never get in gear. So that's why I went looking for just this type of board. My problem is I need to be stricter with myself in two ways. I need to actually eat for starters, I go hours through the day too busy to eat and honestly not even hungry from stress, then bam! Starving all night and too tired to make the right choices. Throughout the years I have done almost every diet out there. Had a lot of success with Atkins and susanne somers. But that requires a lot of cooking or at least prep time in my opinion. I'm short on time so I'm going to try the f-factor diet. I think I'll go get the book tomorrow. Anyone on that or following it? Good luck to everyone!!

Veloria 11-23-2013 02:23 PM

I've been hesitant to post here thinking that the numbers on the scale weren't real, but I've weighed in the 150s for three days straight now, so it appears that I'm really here. Yay!!! I weighed in at 158.3 today. Go me. :)

I had a very, very hard time breaking out of the 160s and my weight loss was stalled for literally a couple of years, so this is a big deal for me. I switched to counting calories and have religiously been tracking every bite with My Fitness Pal and it seems to be working. I'm super motivated and have seen some really positive changes in my body over the past 2 weeks. I'm less than 20 pounds from my goal and a weight I have never seen in my adult life so I'm super motivated to keep going. Not even the holidays are going to derail me! Good luck to the rest of you here as well. Hope we all see the 140s very soon.

Thousandsunny 12-28-2013 10:13 AM

The 150s have been the worst for me, I think! I've been bouncing between 157 and 154 for months! However, I have had my fair share of cheat days sprinkled in so I can't technically blame it all on the scale (but I do. ;) )
I'm hoping I can break through to the 140s soon, hoping to ramp up my exercise to help. Need to start using my fit bit and my fitness pal more as well, those things kept me honest!

@Kscotty1976: Congrats on #5! That must be a crazy handful. What are the ages?

GoingForGold82 01-17-2014 08:19 AM

I'm usually fighting the 160s, but for once again in my life I fight the 150s. At 159 this morning, trying to get out of the 150s in the next 10 weeks (1 lb / week). I'll be here for a while ;-)

Is anybody still active in this forum?

commit2fit 01-17-2014 12:12 PM

I am at 155 and not very happy about it!

underanalysis 01-17-2014 12:46 PM

I'm edging down from a SW of 155. Hopefully it won't take me too long to get back into the 140s.

shr1nk1ngme 01-17-2014 02:12 PM

Hello 150's 3FC's!

I just made it into the 150's. 159.8 yesterday, 159.4 today. I don't usually bounce back up so I'm hoping I'm here now and I can leave the 160's thread.

:carrot:

GoingForGold82 02-03-2014 02:15 AM

Hey guys. I'm back to check in. At 158 right now. Can't wait for when I can say I'm 155 and dying to get into the low 150s. I wonder how long this decade will stick around before I get into the 140s. Thinking positive.

Shrinking - CONGRATS!!! Pull me along with you :-)

Thousandsunny 02-04-2014 10:43 PM

154 and holding steady. *cough * the Big Mac meal I ate Sunday didn't help */cough* Hoping to be out of the 150s by March! If I can stop giving in to every craving I have ever. ...ever.

GoingForGold82 02-16-2014 06:40 PM

Lol thousandandsunny. Are we the only 2 in here? At 156 now. Feeling like I'll be in this decade forever.

CleverName 02-24-2014 05:27 PM

Weighed in at 154.4 this morning. I've been off 3FC for a couple of months, have been dealing with other things and weight loss has not been the priority.
I've been back in it the past week, and am very pleased- I was 161.2 on Feb 12, so I've had the initial loss whoosh- now to just keep at it!

Even if we are, at least we aren't alone! I've been stuck in the 150s for too long. I'm at 152 (153 for a few days since a birthday party this past weekend... Oops) and I just want to see 148 sometime soon! I have to stop sabotaging myself. It's my biggest problem.

Welcome back CleverName! Way to go on the drop into the 150s!

Thousandsunny 03-10-2014 05:22 PM

I hope it's not terrible forum etiquette to reply to myself but I wanted update the thread! I saw 150.4 for a few days before TOM rolled in and mucked everything up. Hopefully that's where I go back to! How have you guys in the 150s been?

GoingForGold82 03-14-2014 10:42 PM

Clevername - great job on the weight loss.
Thousandsunny - you'll get there. You are so close.
I'm on a cleanse and trying to get to the 140s by the end of the month.
Keep up the good work :-)

CleverName 03-16-2014 05:40 PM

I've been holding steady in the mid-150's. My kids were sick last week, so we had some plain simple carbs (that I cannot resist! We don't normally buy much packaged food) for their delicate stomachs, and those carbs have really caught up with me!

GoingForGold, what cleanse are you doing?

ElizabethLC 03-21-2014 09:20 PM

Really happy to read everyone's progress moving down through the 150s. I lost most of my weight in 2010 and was only in the 140s for a short time. I have made a little home in the 150s. But now I'm feeling motivated and excited to maybe work my way down to the 140s and stay there. I am cautiously optimistic. I'm happy to read so many of you are in the lower 150s. I'm 157.5 today.

GoingForGold82 03-23-2014 07:30 AM

Alright Elizabeth LC - keep up the good work! You should definitely be at least cautiously optimistic. It's not a matter of if you get there, it's a matter of when. Everyone has ups and downs. It's getting through the setbacks - that's the imp't thing.

Clevername - I am did Hepatocleanse. It's comes with supplements and a fiber powder and you basically eat fruits and veggies for a week. I thought it would be terrible, but no so much. I picked a week when I had the least amount of lunch meetings, least temptation. I was down to 153 not too long ago, but my eating was out of control and I went up to 159 in 2 weeks (at least half of that water weight/TOM). After the cleanse I was at 151.8 and I'm holding steady so far.

Thousandsunny 03-27-2014 08:12 PM

Bounced to 153, but I just got back from a trip for 4 days. I hope I didn't add too much and then have to move my ticker back up. Grr...

bunnabear 03-29-2014 07:12 PM

I'm getting back into my healthy lifestyle state of mind. I fell off the wagon after some cardiac issues last year and went from 142 back up to 159. I'm sitting at 155 now and determined to get back to 145. I've started exercising and eating better and have noticed some changes over the last 3 weeks but the scale is not really moving, which is okay as long as I'm seeing results in clothes and in the mirror.

Thousandsunny 03-30-2014 08:21 AM

@Bunnabear: I think you've got a great outlook! Too often, we get obsessed with the numbers on the scale. Noticing differences elsewhere is important!

Ironically, I came to post that I was back to 151 from 153, haha. But I do notice my jeans fitting a bit looser, so there's that!:carrot:

maddierep 04-04-2014 02:17 AM

For the past few years i've been vaccillating between 156 and 164.

Now at 158 - and i want to keep going down. Hoping 3FC will help me stay focused and on track

3FC helps a lot with keeping me on track, I hope it does the same for you! The accountability piece helps; if I have a bad day or a bad week of eating, I can vent here while being held accountable at the same time.

That being said, I totally need to start revamping my lunches and cutting some carbs out!! I'm still stuck at 153!

maddierep 04-07-2014 04:55 AM

Thanks for the support. I ate even when not hungry this weekend so back up to 161. But i'm staying in this thread so stay motivated for my downward trek in the 150s.

The good news is the next day was much more mindful of my actual hunger levels.

SallyLa 04-07-2014 09:32 AM

Ive been stuck in the 150s for awhile, but my goal is to get into the 140s this month. Im at 151-152 now so just a little more !

Tuca125 04-08-2014 09:49 AM

Hello from canada.

I WI this weekend at 159.5. Join you all.

ElizabethLC 04-09-2014 09:42 AM

Hi everyone, I'm still 157.5, boo hoo. I'm trying a new challenge so I can switch up my habits and try to get the lbs dropping. I'm doing two meals per day, no snacks, no dairy, no artificial sweeteners and 10000 steps of walking per day. Also getting good sleep, avoiding stress, taking a few supplements and getting some Vit D from the sun. Trying to be gentle and positive with myself and my health.

maddierep 04-10-2014 04:24 AM

Good luck wfonseca and ElizabethLC

I am exactly where you are. I'm also aiming for the "being gentle and positive with muself and my health"

Thousandsunny 04-22-2014 11:43 AM

ElizabethC, that's what I'm trying to do; good luck, you can do it! I really need to cut all sodas. I love dairy and soda, haha. I sometimes wonder if I need to be more gentle. The amount of times I almost throw up at the gym can't be a good thing. ...I like to think it is, though.

helpmelose 04-25-2014 01:29 PM

I am fighting them too!! I feel like I have been in the 150's FOREVER and I get down to the 140's and then fall off and right back in the 150's I am!

SallyLA - You are SO SO close! You can do it!!!

Anastasia84 04-25-2014 02:19 PM

Omg me!! It took me 3 months to go from 166/67 to 157 this morning. I think I finally safely in the 150's but I want to get to the 140's so I can fit in my clothes again! My goal is 120-115 and when it takes 3 months just to lose 10 lbs its so discouraging! I just think it took me years to put it on so if it only takes a year to take it off then I'm still ahead... I really want to enter my 30's in the best shape of my life.

helpmelose 04-26-2014 04:26 PM

Anastasia84 - You can do it! What are you doing now to lose weight? Workouts and eating? As for me I have the programs and tools to get where i need to be but EXTRA accountability and setting goals helps me A LOT!!

I will be browsing the challenge forum the next couple days and working on goals for May! BRING IT!! :carrot:

ElizabethLC 04-30-2014 07:55 PM

Maddierep and thousandsunny, thanks for the support!

Wfonseca - how's it going for you? Let us know!

Thousandsunny from your stats it looks like you are in the lower 150s, getting oh so close to to the 140s. Well done!!

Anastasia84, way to go on that 157. Yessssss!

Helpmelose, how about you? How has this week been? Love your avatar, wish I looked like that!

SallyLA - from your ticker and stats it looks like you are in the mid 140s maybe?? Wooo hoo! You are my hero!

As for me, my no dairy challenge is working! I'm down to 154.5. Mid 150s baby! The only thing I changed about my challenge was I switched from 2 big meals a day to 5 mini-meals. 2 meals a day was giving me headaches from the big rise and fall in blood sugars. 5 mini meals keeps my blood sugar more steady and I feel great!

ElizabethLC 05-09-2014 10:30 AM

Down one more lb to 153.5 today.. only 4 more lbs and I will be in the 140s yaaahooooo! Then the hard task of making the 140s stick.

ElizabethLC 05-13-2014 05:20 PM

152.5 today.. getting even closer to 140s! Only 3 lbs. I can do this, I can do this, I can do this!!

150s peeps, post and let us know how you are doing!
