NSV? Yes, please!
Some history:
I successfully lost over 100 lbs with Weight Watchers back in 2008-2009, doing Flex. Once the program changed, I seemed to have some pounds slowly creep back on, but I tried to track as best I could up until June of this year. I've been off track for the past year or so, though - last August, I moved to a new state to live with my BF, started a new job, and have pretty much no friends up here. In the past year, I've been sacked from said job, on unemployment, and then found a new job...and still pretty much have no friends up here. I moved weighing 204 and got back up to 220 while in my first few weeks of this new job (I've been here about 6 weeks). So, over the past day or so I've been getting a little discouraged with this weight loss business...nothing major - I just realized how much I still need to lose (even if I lose half of my original body weight, I'll still be "overweight"! Anyway, I've been plugging along, recently switching to low carb from yet another failed reattempt at WW and I have been seeing a little progress. And, someone at work told me it looked like I had lost some weight! I know it may be the dress I'm wearing today (it's maternity...don't tell anyone!) or the way I have my hair pulled back, but I'll take it as a win! |
Great job Staja!
