I have literally hidden my scale because I am afraid of getting on it more than once a week. I don't want to see the increase and feel defeated. ;) As far as WW, I am not crazy happy with it. They push the simple start, and I am not fond of it. I am a very picky eater and trying to figure out ways to eat only what they let you eat at the beginning is a pain in the tushy.:mad: I wanted to just start on the points, but they didnt want that because "it has been proven" that if you do simple start you have a better jump start on weight loss. :nono: Also, I feel like I get much more support here :hug: than I do at the meetings. I was not impressed with that either. I guess I will have to see how the next one goes before I make too big of a decision on them, but I just didnt see the support from it. Well that was a lot of complaining lol :df: |
if it helps, complain away. i'll do my own share of complaining... a week and a half before my period or so i actually get an appetite increase and that sucks so hard b/c what i thought i was accustomed to eating doesn't seem like enough. so annoying.
last night my spouse and i had a lavish meal out and while i didn't eat as much as i once would have, i probably overdid my calories by at least 1500 yesterday... ugggh. i have a hard time being more restrictive beyond my normal afterwards to so i can't even make up for it... just put that in the bank i guess. bleh. but... it was delicious and fun so i shouldn't complain too much. i'm trying to treat this as a lifestyle where i go out once in awhile, not as deprivation, so feeling guilty about splurges every so often is probably not healthy. |
I just feel so restricted on what I can eat. and I have been following the rules. I just feel hungry. A lot lol :df:

Most of the weight group threads have limited response. I'm hoping to be here in the next couple weeks. I weighed back in today at 191.2. :) Fingers crossed!
I'm sure you'll keep going. I've learned to not freak out because I notice that in any given week my weight can range 5 lbs, So I might be up 2 lbs one day, but down 3 or 4 the next. It's all water when it's that bouncy, so no need to fret, just stick to it! :) |

I'm starting to think that I might have trouble losing weight while nursing. While I'd like to lose weight and get some of this excess weight off, nursing my baby is more important to me. I'll keep at it, going slowly at it is better than not working on it at all! :) |

Thats how i felt yesterday when i got below 189. Was back up to 189.2 today. As long as i can keep below 190 I wont stress too much.

186.8. I was expecting a drop and it was bigger than what i expected. I got a flat tire last night and after sitting on the side of freeway waiting for my tow for over an hour n half I cant say I was a good girl last night. We had plans to go to the bar and I was famished when i got there. They had amazing fries. I said i wouldnt eat them all, but i did. And my chicken pesto sandwich was great, but i took off most of the bread. My biggest mistake was the three crown and diet cokes. But i had been good all week. So not going to sweat it, well I am going to sweat it later at the gym and move on with my life. :)

This morning the scale said 186! Then I got off the scale, and the dang thing said ERR. Grr! Re weighed, and it was 188.4. Oh well. |
Clever I'm pretty sure our scales decided to be broken today. 188.8. I did however work out twice and try a cycling class.
