Where do you like to shop?
As you are slimming down, where do you like to shop? I'm looking for places that are feminine and beautiful. Thanks!

I don't like shopping, maybe cause I didn't like seeing how the clothes fit, or those dreaded bright lights in fitting rooms that exaggerate my cellulite. Lol. If I do buy clothes I shop at those little fashion girls stores, can't beat paying under 10 bucks for a shirt, plus it doesn't hurt when I don't like what I have purchases a months before, or no longer fit it. They are like forever 21 just usually not a chain and cheaper. Too bad since moving out of Los Angeles i can't find any around my house.

I don't like shopping either. When I have to though, I usually hit the outlet stores. I'm am not extremely girly and live with my husband and three boys so we frequent the sports stores the most, but when I do have to go for girly stuff I like TJ Maxx or DEB where I can get all the name brand stuff extremely cheap. I don't like spending a lot of money on clothes.

I must be the odd one out because I love fashion and shopping. Most of the shopping I do is online. My favorite online vendors: Forever 21, Dress Barn, Fashion to Figure and now Mod Cloth (since they finally added a plus size section).

I like jcrew! They can be expensive but are higher quality. But they do have some killer sales. Andddd they have free personal shoppers that will basically help you fit and dress your body. I also like tj maxx and Nordstrom rack when I can be bothered to dig.

I love White House Black Market, Express, and The Limited in addition to TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and even Target! NY&Co is another good one.

Please don't judge me but....
I have been shopping the Goodwill store for my "in-between" clothes. I never ever EVER shopped Goodwill as it wasn't my style but I was encouraged to at least try.
Last week I got 3 shirts and a pair of Old Navy jeans for a total of $10. All put through the washer and dryer and as good as new to me. The racks had Levis, Old Navy, Jones New York, and then other store brands (Kohls, Macys, Walmart, Fashion Bug, Ann Taylor). I was shocked!! But then I realized when I donate all my clothes that I have outgrown, the racks will have all my brandname clothes too!
I am not saying it's a goldmine and that some things on the rack don't belong in the trash but I was pleasantly surprised. (I shopped the half off sale they were having that day so all of my $4.99 clothes were only $2.50 each but they were still worth $4.99 in my opinion.) And I am supporting a good cause. Plus I justified my shopping at Fashion Bug for a couple of things by averaging out the full cost of both stores lol.
When I get thin, all I want to do is go into a normal store without plus size options and leave with a new outfit. That sounds so selfish and vain but I have been so large for so long, I just want to do it once.

So cute I laughed away at that u thought they were still worth 4.99.
No judgement I used to buy clothes there when my mommy threw me out at 17, I just don't have the patience anymore, but might go in to look for some Levi's I don't want to spend 60 bucks on something I hope doesn't fit next month! I would gladly take someone's hand me downs for the time being!

Lol chubbiegurl, I am glad I made you laugh! I just didn't want anyone to think I was being rude.
Like I said, they had some real junk on the racks which makes me angry that someone thinks a donation receiver would be that desperate but I digress! I really wanted to buy a whole pile of jeans but I am hoping now that I am in the 20/18 range, I might start moving sizes faster than when I was heavier.
I shopped in my closet today. Wearing some sparkly blingy jeans I haven't worn in no lie 7 years. I'll be modeling them for my husband when he gets home (lucky him lmao). I have no idea what size they are as I cut the tags out of them a long time ago...don't know why I do that.

I don't really enjoy shopping (and I certainly don't shop recreationally the way some folks do!) but my favourite clothes come from J. Crew, Modcloth, Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx/Marshalls, ModCloth, Etsy, Anthropologie (the clearance room at the back of the store!), Pinupgirlclothing.com, Fossil. I like the Ralph Lauren Denim & Supply line which I shop at Macy's for, and have also found nice things at other department stores (Dillards, mostly, and Von Maur, when I lived near one). I go to regular Nordstrom for bras, but can't stand being in that store, so I try to get in and get out quickly! I also LOVE thrift shopping and used to do a lot of it when I was a smaller size!

I shop at goodwill, I find amazing deals but I like the "treasure hunting" aspect of it!

I am obsessed with LOFT, but only their casual and dressy-casual young lines. My shape on bottom still works best in American Eagle jeans, all different cuts. I like Conservative, feminine and soft. I'm very pink and black and flashy for workout clothes, though. Lol I've developed a bit of a Barbie complex...
