Mothers
 

So my mom lives on the other side of the state from me. She has never been very supportive since I have gained weight other than pointing it out. So I am trying to secretly get in shape with only my sister knowing what I am doing. I know the sounds crazy but I want there to be a big change when she sees me again. Last time I saw her I got the comment your belly looks smaller but it must be because you are wearing black. Well last night before showering I looked in the mirror. I know this is normally a HUGE mistake seeing myself naked in the mirror but you know what?? I can see shoulders!!!!! I have always carried my weight in my upper body and around my face and I was sooo excited I could see the start of these very cute shoulders!!!! I can't wait to wear tank tops and sleeveless dresses again!! In my moms eyes I will always be the slim teenager. Lets just say it has been a long time since those days.


This is me back in high school. My mom only wants this back.

Congrats on the progress thus far. I feel similarly about my sister. I am not going home for Easter or Mother's Day because I want my sIster's jaw to drop when she sees me in a bathing suit at our family vacation in June. Plus I still have a little more work to do before then. Hope you wow her when you hit your goal.
