The kids are in bed.

My DH is out for the evening.

The kitchen needs to be cleaned after dinner.

The cookies are calling me .... not "eat me" but rather "eat us!"

I'm stating for all to read: I will clean the kitchen and I will stay away from the cookie tin. When it is clean, I will leave the kitchen, get my reading and go to bed.

I know where "just one...." leads me and it isn't good!
