Starting again!

Well got sick back in November for over a month and now finally got the balls to weight myself and gained almost 10 pounds since I couldn't work out and decided to eat like crap. So I am back on the wagon again and hope to be back in the 140's soon! Hope everyone had a nice Christmas!

Welcome back, Mitza. I had a hard time keeping up with my fitness routine, and I haven't been eating enough these past couple of weeks. I'm fostering some orphaned kittens for my local animal control facility; they were pretty fragile and they had to be bottle fed every four hours round the clock. The kittens are weaned now, so here's to both of us getting back on track.

Sounds like a great thing you are doing Kate! I have a dog myself and love animals so I am sure they are growing healthy and strong thanks to you. Lost 1 pound since yesterday...I know its just water weight but hey, at least something moved down on the scale this time! Thanks for the support. I really appreciate it!

I'm sure you can do it!!!!!!!!

Glad you are doing better! I am afraid to get on the scale after these past few weeks, but probably will tomorrow to see what the damage is. Hoping that 2 days of clean eating and exercise well lessen the blow :).

i've been not following a plan for a few months now and started coming here this week to get back on track. two weeks ago i weighed myself and i was up 4lbs., today i went to the scale to get a baseline for starting counting again and the battery was dead :(. lol, saved me from a little disappointment i'm sure. battery is now replaced and i'll be back at it tomorrow.

I'm right there with you! I backslid substantially due to crazy work travel and other excuses. There's a thread going in featherweights right now to get out of the 140's. I'm barely still IN the 140's but I'm participating in it to keep motivated. The other folks in that thread all have similar goals to mine and it helps me to have that accountability, even if it's virtual.
I'm right there with you on this!

Is anyone back on the wagon yet? I'll admit it: I'm still struggling.

I am, for the most part. My eating is good, and has been for the last couple of weeks but still struggling on getting the exercise in.

DingoK8 01-13-2011 02:05 PM

Hey, Peaches. That's where I'm failing, too, and now there's just no excuse. I'm finding that fessing up makes me want to go work out, though, so thanks for answering!
