150.5 and I have seen this a couple times now. I am really switching stuff up to try to get out of the 150s. This could be an amazing summer if the scale f-i-n-a-l-l-y starts moving!
My plan is breakfast every day, counting cals and carbs, lots of walking and remembering my supplements.
I have been watching the 140s, 130s and 120s threads in the featherweights board for inspiration!!

Hi girls, and I hope I can join your forum. I'm a bit older than you and trying my best to get to 140-144 for health and vanity ;-) I eat very low cal foods and lots of salads/green vegetable, and limit sugar as much as humanly possible, substituting Stevia for things like baking and coffee.
I've been walking for about 60 minutes a day between outside and the treadmill and I find that this is the only way I see results. We're almost into May - think we can lose at least a pound a week? :-)

WebWoman - welcome!!! =)
I did very poorly the past week - binged for about 4 days & gained 3 pounds. kinda funny but 3 pounds in 4 days but it will take about 2 weeks to lose it. =/
But I learned my lesson and am happily back & dedicated. So 8 pounds till I am a healthy BMI & 18 pounds till I fit into the rest of my wardrobe. =)

Hey ladies! New to the 150s thread and so happy to finally be here! I haven't had a day in the 60s for awhile so I felt it was time. I weighed in this morning at 158.4.
I'm back to weighing myself every day in the morning. I don't act differently when I don't weigh, don't make worse decisions or anything, but I don't like not knowing. Makes me feel like I'm ignoring things and quite frankly that's what got me to my high weight in the first place.
How are things going for you now, Dolly? I'm sorry you wound up gaining those few pounds but really it's great that you caught it and put a stop to it. That's a victory in and of itself.

I just hit 149 after months and months of stalling at 152-156!
Here's what I did:
I started eating a bigger breakfast and I am now tracking calories religiously.
And I am working on my tendency to get hungry at night and snack on this and that. Cutting out the nighttime eating has been hard but worth it!!
I hope my 149 sticks!!

YAY Thistleberry - you are here! woo hoo! I'm so glad to see you! =)
I am down to 154.8. 4.8 pounds & I am back in "normal BMI" ! Yay!! I am so excited.
I am weighing myself every other day so far. I just got too sad seeing those daily *blips* on the scale when I weigh myself daily.
I agree with you though, Thistleberry - I need the scale to keep me honest, it is too easy to act like nothing is wrong.
Elizabeth LC - Congrats! on getting out of the 150's!! that is amazing!

Newbie
Hi, there! I'm new on this site and this is my first post. I had my second child 6.5 months ago. I began my pregnancy at 142lbs. I was working out hard several days a week and eating clean most of the time. I had previously lost about 15 pounds preparing for my wedding, which was Nov 2010. With my first pregnancy, over 8 years ago, I gained 70 (!!!!) pounds, but lost it afterward. My body does not follow the 25-30 pound rule whatsoever. With this pregnancy, I worked SO hard not to gain too much, but within the first trimester, I was up 15 lbs, despite a great diet and loads of exercise.
In my second trimester, I went into preterm labor and nearly lost my baby. Miraculously, my cervix closed completely from 2-3 cm. From that point on, I was put on strict bed rest. Four months!!! Not even allowed to do a leg lift or take a walk! THANK GOD my baby hung. Our miracle baby was born at 39 weeks 4 days.
All in all, I gained about 50 lbs. By the time I delivered and stepped on the scale a week later, I was down to 180. I nursed my butt off and dropped to 172 within a couple of weeks. 23, give or take a couple of pounds. That was the easy weight.
Since then, I have continued to lose through my old trusty low calorie diet and my sunroom elliptical, when I can muster the ENERGY and find the TIME!!!
I work full time, and of course, have two kiddos.
SO, current weight is 155. Pre-preg & Wedding Day weight is 142. Goal weight is 125, although that may be too low for me. Haven't been that size since 19.
My question is: does anyone use any type of appetite suppressant? I am NOT looking for a miracle pill or crash diet. I know what to eat, how much to eat, calories in/ calories out, etc. BUT I am SO hungry!!! My daughter just completely weaned and I think my body is confused about how many calories I actually need right now. In addition, I have severe endometriosis, so I am forced to take birth control bills which I think have increased my appetite.
I am turning 30 in September, and want to reach my goal by then. That's 1.7 pounds a week. IS this realistic?
And does anyone have any advice on a natural or synthetic appetite suppressant, just to get my calories under control?
Thanks!

Congratulations Elizabeth!
Wow, Dolly, you're making quick work of the 50s.
Welcome, Mrslynah! I don't take an appetite suppressant so I can't help you there. Perhaps you should ask elsewhere on the forums? As for 1.7 lbs a week, well, it may be possible. Certainly in the beginning you've got a good shot at that or better. However, weight loss does tend to slow down the closer you get to goal. One thing is certain though and that is you will be much closer to goal by your 30th if you start now than if you don't.
I was back up to 159 today. I'm not at all bothered by it though because I really upped my exercise this last week. I had a few days off of work and decided to check out some of the classes that I usually can't go to. Zumba, it turns out, is a lot of fun even if my brain has trouble telling my body what it should be doing. I also started doing NROLFW on Sunday. I get to do my second workout today and I'm so looking forward to it.

HIII!! IM HERE!! Im at 159.6 this morning, now I know that's risqué and theres a strong chance I'll be in the 160s tomorrow, but that's a risk I'm willing to take!
Mrslynah a lot of people have different opinions on appetite suppresants, I know that when I weighed 220 I desperately needed one, because I was just SO bloody hungry so I used Zantrex-3. I know a lot of people don`t like it because of it's side effects but I was fine. I don't suggest you take it, but if ever you feel like giving it a shot, let me know, I'll walk you through. xo

153!!!! I'm so stoked!!!
I can't wait to get into the 140's!
I am now 11 pounds from my pre-pregnancy/ wedding day weight and 28 pounds from my DREAM weight! Yay for weight loss!!!
Also, I wanted to add a big thanks for the responses to my appetite suppressant question. I am taking some of my old supplements: B-12, B-6, prenatal multi, and Hoodia, and I added CLA. Not sure if it's the supplements or simply a hormonal shift, but I am feeling much more in control this week.

If I'm honest I can't even imagine the 140s. It's such a foreign idea to me. I mean, I know essentially it's the same as the 150s and you don't develop super powers or something once you cross the threshold... Unless you do... in which case you must tell us Mrslynah! Congratulations on being oh-so-close!!
