How did I get here?

:dizzy: Seems like just yesterday I was browsing the 20's forum. Anyone else feel time slipping away from them?

Anyway, it appears that I have been sticking my nose in places where it doesn't belong and saying things that tick people off, so I'm searching for a place where I do belong. Can't guarantee I won't be ticking people off, though!:p

Have a great day everyone!

I turned 30 on May 30th. I feel like a total imposter in the 30's forum.

Don't feel like an imposter! I'm still in denial and I'll be 37 in November. I figure by the time 40 hits, I'll have this being 30 thing down pat, then there'll be a whole other world of challenges to face.:o

I'm 32 and having the same issue! In the 30's forum there's lots of talk about kids and husbands. (not married, no kids) But in the 20's forum lots of talk about college classes, etc. (been graduated for 11years!). Stuck in limbo! :)

I hear ya Jen! Im 31 and married, but graduated with no kids. I guess I feel like a bum, i just work, sleep, exercise and read ;)

Come on you guys - 30s are amazing! I'm 31 and I feel like I'm not as naive and stupid as I was in my 20s, but I'm still young and can have fun, but still be responsible! I think 40s will be a litte tough, but if I continue this new lifestyle maybe even better than my 30s!

pinkflower 09-10-2010 10:32 PM

I don't know how I feel either. I"m 30, will be 31 in Dec. I finished undergrad years ago, but just finished grad school in May, so the college talk still is still familiar and interesting to me. I'm married w/ kids, but just have a hard time relating to being 30. The thought of me being 40 is less than 10 yrs away is terrifying! I guess I still feel 20 lol

Everyone in the 30's forum is nice though!

I will be 39 in October and I don't want to leave the 30-Somethings next year! LOL

I am 37 and think that the number of your years is what you make it.

I feel there is a good balance of people on the 30-somethings board that are single, no kids, married, or have kids. If you ask questions we will respond as best we can and you can take what you want from those responses. Life experiences are a huge influence on where we are and what we have to offer.

There is this quote that I love: "At the center of your being you have the answer; you know who you are and you know what you want." Go get what you want from life...enjoy each day and know that you have the choice to make it whatever you want.

I hear you on the not knowing where you belong, I hit 30 in may too, it's just bizarre, I'm sure I don't belong with the 20 somethings though.

I just turned 35 :( I'm single, no kids, so I don't fit in either.
