I haven't tried it yet but I hear the Stevia natural sodas are good. I went to the movies this week and order 2 hotdogs without the bun, I spread mustard on them and it was very good. I am trying to eat lower carbs and sugar.

So 1bighog I thought about this thread yesterday - my husband and I had a movie date. I was terrified bow I would handle the popcorn dilemma but I knew that I had to confront this demon. I tried to prepare myself the best I could but I hadn't had lunch before I went so I was nervous. I did not want to derail all of the hard work from the last couple of weeks. I got in the car with the hubby and I said, you know what? I should probably have some protein before we go so that I don't go crazy with the popcorn and he said well let's make a stop on the way for you. Quickly stopped at Target and I got some protein bars and he got some Hot Tamales. Made it to the movies and purchased a large popcorn and large drink (he agreed to share a Sprite zero with me - yay - he's getting it!) and I kept playing this thread in my mind. I had my protein bar first to somewhat fill me up and then had only 1 cup of popcorn. We even brought 1/3 of the bag home to my boys to enjoy! What a great surprise for them. I made it through another obstacle. Thank you - thank you - thank you!!!

You are awesome, jhawk. Like I said before, I don't normally like popcorn but my daughter bought some and I COULD NOT RESIST with her right next to me! But, hopefully I will remember the way it made me feel after and not do it again. Good job on preparing yourself beforehand!
