My little girl was in the hospital for a week so I didn't get to eat too incredibly healthy so...I can't complain at least I didn't gain weight.

Default Week 7 Results

We lost 7 lbs this week! If you were anything like me (with a 1.4lb GAIN!!) last week, I feel for ya. I think a lot of us are struggling right now.

Why?

Well, for one - summer is winding down. No motivation (torture) by shorts and swimming pools. Frankly, I get into my "boredom mode" as well. Losing weight takes time and I just get impatient, then petulant, then on the pity pot.

Personally, I have committed myself to losing 10lbs by the time this challenge winds up. Five weeks, 10 pounds. It's very aggressive for me (I loose SLOW) but I need to do it. I need a jump start, I need to get excited again!

How about you, are you in?

I'm just getting over my slump, hoping to show a good loss tomorrow! to meet my original goal for this challenge, I need to lose a little over 7 pounds in five weeks, that is actually pretty aggressive for me! But I need to kick it up a notch here and get it in gear - staying on plan all week and actually committing myself to exercising again (hoping to make it a habit again!!) should help a lot. Summers are always screwy for me since DH is a teacher, he's home, the kids are home, and I work from home....so it's too easy to stay in bed, cook stuff that is not as healthy, etc. DH starts inservice this week, so we're back to getting up early, and getting him out the door. Next week is back to normal, so I'm really hoping to blow my original goal out of the water!

I am in the same boat. In order to meet my goal for this challenge I need to lose an additional 6 lbs. I have so far lost a total of 6. Not to thrilled with it thus far but I am tying to perservere past the 180's. I have been in them since mid June (ish)!! I would like to lose an additional 2-4 lbs on top of that. At the rate I have been losing lately that seems a bit aggresive. I have changed some things around w/ diet and exercise and it seems to be working so far.

183.2/-1.2/182

Have a great day everyone!!

Way to show 'em, Mortonpixie!

Thrilled to see that! I sort of expect a bounce up, it was a big whoosh, but I'll take it!!

kuchick 166.0 / -1.0 / 165.0 Not as good as it looks. I've been stuck at 165 +/- all month!

Kuchick, I hate for you that you're stuck just before that "Overweight" category. I do that before every single important victory like that. Any day now!
