Strength from the Small Stuff

So today is my 20+ day of being a 3FC member, which means I finally get to see that shiny new weight tracker in my siggy line. It's really not relevant, but focusing on cute little motivational graphics is keeping me from eating the habitual 1AM snack I'm mentally (but not physically) craving at the moment.

The late-night surfing snack may be my nemesis, but it will not win tonight! :snooty:

very cool. it is definately the small stuff. if we only waited for those lofty grand goals, we would all be quitters.

keep on keeping on!

The small stuff is what gets me through eating the good and skipping my favorite bad stuff...

Keep it the hard work!

OMGoodness. I can completely relate. Almost hands down late night eating is what made me obese. It began when I had my babies. I would up late with them and several times throughout the night. I would have a hard time going back to sleep so I would get up and eat. The trend continued for five years and yep, you guessed it. I got bigger and bigger! When I changed my life I decided to start going to sleep at night. It has helped me tremendously. No more nightly sneak eating. Of course, I made other changes too but this one has really, really helped. Plus, by getting more sleep I feel more energetic the next day.

Good for you not to let the snack attack come on!

Me too.

Hi MotherMe,

I laughed -- in a good way -- when I read your post. I too have been waiting for the 'reward' of a ticker. (just got mine today) And I was silly excited to see those numbers -- somehow it makes it more real.

They say not to sweat the small stuff, but I agree with you, we definitely also need to celebrate the small stuff!

Happy ticker updating,

B.

omg pixie! you're melting! 193?!? How'd you get THERE? You just got to Onederland! You're an animal! MotherMe, I was totally stoked (like, fer sure!) when I got my ticker last week too. It's nice when our little icons move to the right.
