I know this thread has passed a bit of time, but, it seems like the OP did not even hit a thousand calories. At least from my standpoint.
Two lean cuisine meals at most 600 kcals. Two hundred calorie snacks. Seems her body hit starvation mode. No wonder the OP is hungry late at night EVERY. NIGHT. Her body has been giving her warning signs. Add in another decent 300-400 calorie meal AND keep your regular eating habits. Find nutrient dense foods. I always am surprised that when someone posts a daily menu it usually contains about a thousand calories and the people keep asking others why they are still hungry at night. |
I agree...when I eat less than 1200 cals/day, I could eat my whole fridge come 7pm...I try to hit about 1500 cals/day...If I've worked out alot, I may have to up that to 1800.
If the cravings do hit, I like air popped popcorn. If I'm really out of cals for the day and am still hungry, I like to walk on my treadmill while watching TV...that usually keeps my mind occupied for the munchies to pass. |
