What's On the Menu Today?

  • Just thought we could get some ideas from each other! I, for one, get tired of the same old thing.

    B: Home made bread w/ a little real butter
    Apple
    1oz lowfat cheese
    L: Mixed greens w/ Smoked Turkey
    Mushrooms, sliced peppers, slivered almonds and a little vinigarette
    S: Not sure yet
    D: Chicken & Spaghetti Casserole (will post recipe in recipes section of this board)

    Anyone have any ideas for high protein snacks besides cheese and nuts?
  • B: Steel cut oatmeal cooked with diet swiss miss and chocolate almond milk (200 calories), banana (100 calorie)
    S: Apple (100 calorie)
    L: Amy's Enchiladas (320 calories)
    S: Watermelon, Wasa's sourdough cracker with laughing cow cheese (~200 calorie)
    D : Potato leek soup with some bread (maybe) - 300 calories
    Dessert : a cup or two of Lipton Caramel flavored tea
  • Breakfast- EAS protein shake
    s- celery with natural pb
    lunch- cabbage with turkey kiebalsa, broc & cauliflower salad, SF jello cup
    s-dill pickle
    Dinner- grilled chicken on top of a big salad
    s- I dunno yet, depends... on what I can find! lol
  • Breakfast: Coffee...and lots of it

    Lunch: tuna salad (tuna, lime juice, spices, jalapeno, green pepper, tomato, onion, carrots, cilantro) wrapped in romain lettuce leaves with black bean soup

    Dinner: baked salmon with lemon and garlic, quinoa, green salad, BEER!!!! I've been waiting for a beer for day now, couldn't have one because I was sick.
  • Breakfast: Egg sandwich (whole wheat bread, egg beaters), and 1 banana
    Snack: 3 pretzel rods
    Lunch: Grilled chicken salad (chicken breast, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, green pepper, and light dressing)
    Snack: Carrot and celery sticks
    Dinner: Grilled chicken, and brocolli w/light alfredo sauce
    Snack: Apple
