30 Somethings Daily Chat Friday 9/11

Good morning!

Just starting the chat for the day. Apparently my 2 year old DD decided that she would get up an hour early and throw a near continuous tantrum for a couple of hours. :dizzy: Funny, but I can almost block it out. :D

On the bright side, the baby slept until 4am so I got 5 consecutive hours of sleep and 2 more to boot! He's not been eating as much during the day this last two days so I probably weigh about 2lbs more by just carrying around all this milk all day... sorry tmi - but who else can I share it with??

Last night's dinner was YUMMY. I stirfried that pork and veggies in a little oil and just left the sauce on the side. I like Hoisin and Peanut Sauces but they are high in calories. Solution: leave on the side and drizzle over hot dish!

Yeah for babies that sleep through the night :cp:
Boo for 2 year old tantrums.. I never could block it out.

Still no word from the neurologist. Still don't have an appt. Still nothing from our family dr. Why isn't that we have to HURRY UP to WAIT??? DD still has headache nothing is helping. Last night was the first night she cried (sobbed) she asked me what if it was bad, something that made her not be able to walk, talk, etc., what if she died. How do you deal with your baby asking you that? Very hard not to cry but I didn't (until alone later) and I told her that it didn't matter what happened we would just deal with it. No matter how bad it was I would be there for her.

My eating has been good. I actually had a NSV yesterday. My friend brought me a piece of bakery cake, from a REAL bakery. I resisted all day but took it home. I took one spoon full of cake and icing and counted points for it. I savored that bite but it was enough! Don't know who sprinkled :dust: on me. Then I gave the rest to DH. :broc: Makes me feel good to make a good choice.

Tomorrow my mom and I are going to Ky (Lexington) to see my aunt. I have saved my WPA this week just in case I go over on points. I hope not to use them though. I have a plan... Breakfast at home, then lunch at my aunts..got to be careful there, then supper on the way home I am going stick to something light. It's been 3 days and I have stuck to the min. daily points allowance except for last night I used 1. The last time I did WW if I ate all of my WPA I didn't lose, this time I am going to try not to use them except on special occasions.

Ya'll have a good day and a good weekend.

Just a quick check in -- I'm out of town for a wedding.

I'm in the 180's!! Barely, but I'm in there. 189.8.

What great inspiration to keep eating well this weekend. It would be such a shame to ruin this accomplishment by eating poorly this weekend!
