Hello from Tennessee! :-)

Hi everyone! I just joined a few days ago and wanted to say hello.

Im Angela, Im 33, I live in Memphis, TN, I have two boys (3 if you count my DH) and a furry daughter (boxer) named Sadie.

I am currently searching for a program that will fit me and my lifestyle but until I find it I am exercising, using portion control and trying my hardest to stay away from sweets (excluding fruit).

I look forward to talking to everyone!

Have a great weekend.

TracyB73: Thank you for the welcome! Everyone here has been extremely nice. Im really loving this website.

Squeak351: Are you an LPN or RN? I get my LPN in January then I'm going to work for a year then go back for my RN.

Welcome! :)

I am a LPN. I HAD planned to go back to get my RN but a kid and illness got in the way. Now I in a job that has a great retirement and I'm not leaving. Getting my RN at this point wouldn't increase my pay at all so I don't see why I need to go back now. BUT if you have the chance get your RN ASAP and don't wait around. I wish I had go on from the very beginning.

Nursie2b 08-24-2009 02:15 PM

Squeak: I don't blame you for not wanting to leave a job with good benefits. Isn't that the reason why we get more education so that we can have good pay and benefits?? I want to do trauma so I am going back asap. I have a plan so I hope that it sticks and nothing comes up to stop it.

Hi there and thank you for the welcome! I have to say that I love your ticker! I never thought about that for no fast food. That is a very good idea. If you wouldn't mind, I would like to "borrow" that idea when I am able to edit my signature! :) hehe

UniquelyNormal 08-24-2009 03:03 PM

Have at it!! :) :)

I am so excited to meet you all. I am an LPN as well. Well I was. I can't work as an LPN now. I have several disabilities.

But, I !KNOW! that by losing weight it will help with the pain. Once I can get it under control things will be better.

I can't wait to getting to know all of you and all of us working together we can get our weight down.

Having someone to buddy up with is the best thing we can do.

hello ladies. I am an RN. I finished that pregnant, and then went to school for a year for my BSN. One of my major motivations? I want to be that "hot nurse".
