I had a great weekend with friends, but I did not eat well and I didn't run at all. Oh well, I ran today on the treadmill for 30 minutes. I am a total stress eater and work has been stressful and to top it off a co-worker is going around selling girl scout cookies.

My friends were really supportive of me this weekend. It was a blast shopping since I had a little extra money and I got to buy jeans that were a whole lot smaller. I was pretty excited about that. But back to work today and the whole looming layoffs make work hard. I am not being laid off, but it is still sad and makes for a horrible work environment.

It's late but I'll still check in for today. I did very well with the food thing today but didn't get to the gym- ended up being emergency daycare for my sister's sick child instead. I could have worked out at home I suppose but I didn't.

SapphireBlue- glad to hear you are feeling a little better. That surgery should permanently cure you of the eating of fatty foods. My sister had this surgery and said if she eats foods which are too fatty- she PAYS. I guess if it works it's a good thing.

Day 2 of working out, and I feel really good about it! For now I'm doing 30 minutes on the elliptical, 15 minutes on the bike, and a little bit of weight training. I think once I get into a good routine of actually getting to the gym 4 or 5 days a week, I might sign up for a couple of sessions with a personal trainer, so that I don't feel so lost when it comes to using the weight machines..
