Hey! Where is everybody? Worn out from Trick or Treating????

Well our Halloween was very laid back. Spencer decided last min he did want to go, Mckayla was sick. Left late, first we stopped at neighbors, an older couple. The kids wound up eating dinner there, lol. By the time we left, there were few houses with lights on. We had a good time though seeing our friends, it had been a long time. I've completely overdone the chocolate, so its good they didn't get alot.

Today we went to the flea market, lots of walking, I'm worn out. I did get three MHG books, I like them cause they are an easy read for me.

I ate candy. Now I have a headache.

I picked through the kids' candy and ate all of the Reeses cups. Thank goodness there were only three of them. I can't resist the peanut butter cups. Today was our youngest's first bday so we had a small party with close friends and, of course, I ate the cake and ice cream. Oh well. I am not going to beat myself up over it. After all, tomorrow is another day.

I'm writing, writing, writing this weekend. Saturday was the start of NanoWrimo 2008. It's National Novel Writing Month, the object being to write 50,000 words of a novel in a month. So, you may not see me much this month.

Ranger... good luck with the contest!! I love to write too and have recently finished a childrens book. It was a fun thing to do but I don't think it will go anywhere... it's just a hobby.

Today is my birthday!! 40 and still kicking!! LOL We had a nice fattening Polish dinner last night and today I just need to do my regular errands (food shopping, etc.) but DH is going to make us a nice dinner.

Oops... forgot to add, I lost 2.8 pounds this week!!! I think it's the Turbo Jam... LOL!!! YAY ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a nice early birthday present!

I still need to grocery shop, not looking forward to it, hence my procrastination. McKayla made me out a grocery list, well its a start at least.

Thanks Alicia!! Yep!! New job tomorrow! It'll be weird to get up and go someplace different. I hope I don't forget and make a left instread of a right!! LOL My kids used to love to make the list for the store... they would sit at the table while I looked thru the cabinets and told them what to add to the list. Then they got older and it wasn't fun anymore. I know how they feel, it's lost some of it's excitement for me over the years too!! ROFL!!!

Have fun!! I went early this afternoon to get it over with. The store was so crowded though... bleah!
