Yes, today has been one crazy one, that's for sure.

I'm just here wasting time until I decide to get off my arse and go jogging. Maybe I'll sort through winter clothes for awhile.

I just got back, and I did really great! I jogged for 20 minutes straight! (For a total of 45 minutes)

I am so hungry! I want to eat a house. Instead, I will eat some turkey tacos. Besides a house would just be a little bit too much fiber. :)

Good evening to everyone! It has been a busy couple of days, but things should calm down. I am also looking forward to a relaxing weekend. October is a long month for teachers. I know, I am pretty lucky for all of the holiday time off, but we are not used to working a full month. :) My non teacher friends don't feel sorry for me when I complain about working so much. I guess it's all relative, right? Anyway, I hope everyone has a great evening.

I was just thinking that I am so hungry that I want to eat the keyboard! :D

Good Evening Ladies!

So we went to the park. The kids had fun... as usual. But I am a bit disgusted and plan on calling our Parks and Rec dept. in the a.m. to let them know I am not a happy about finding not one, not two but three condom wrappers and condoms... in the play area my children play in. Then to top it off one of the climbers handles was missing a bolt- so the handle is useless. What gives... why would people do such a thing. For goodness sakes CHILDREN use this park. If you Must have sex... go somewhere's else and if you must break something- break your own property. This is so sickening. I live in a very nice town, a very nice area of my town to oboot, Why? Why should my children (and the many other children whom were there also) need to come acorss tihs... for pete's sake they are under 5 y/0. GRRRRRRR.

Well enough of my grumbling about the park.


RangerChic --- How odd that she did that in your parking lot? But, I guess it is better that she pulled off the road to do such things then to drive and apply make up etc.
Sorry about your sucky afternoon too. Clinics are great, but then some aren't so great. Hoping that the rest of your day went well.

Pearfreak - Wow that is super gross. I hope you do call them. I once got in a yelling match with a woman across a playground (she was really far away, thus the yelling) because she let her dog poop and was walking away. So gross but doesn't even compare to used condoms. Seriously!!

So I just started the coach to 5k thing. There is a 5k here around Thanksgiving and I think it would be awesome if I could run it. However, I know that treadmill running is very different from street running so tonight I am taking to the streets. Well, actually, a track. I figure it is a good start.

So do any of you all watch biggest loser? I wanted to watch it this week but instead the movie Ratatouille (sp??) was on. I thought it they were just skipping a week or something but then everyone was talking about seeing it on here. Then I realized each morning Today isn't on but instead things like Boy Meets World. So I need to call the cable company and see what is up. So weird....

Time Warner Cable did not drop KXAN. By refusing us an extension, LIN TV pulled KXAN from Time Warner Cable. KXAN decided to put its viewers in the middle of this business negotiation in order to force Time Warner Cable to give them the money they want for their free signal. It was ultimately KXAN's decision to not grant us permission to broadcast their signal. Federal laws mandate that we cease carriage of broadcast signals when retransmission agreements are not renewed. For the past few months, we have been working with KXAN to renew its retransmission agreement and we're continuing to negotiate with KXAN. We are hopeful KXAN will restore its programming to you.
