Congrats on your weight loss Sass, you look great!

Maybe the chance to win money when you work out might motivate you too?

I just found this site... http://www.milliondollarbody.com/index.htm

They have a new winner ever day!! Sign up for Team Beachbody (it's free) and log you're live workouts and you can win money just for working out!!

I did one workout so far since I joined and it was easy. Just make sure to read the FAQ's on the contests.

poppy, the site doesn't look free... talks about charges. Is that just an additional thing or what? Do you know?

poppyseeds 10-07-2008 05:53 PM

There is the main site that you can win money on (the link I gave you) and there is another optional site called Team Beachbody Club that is like $2.99 a month or something like that. So anytime you see the word 'club' that's the pay site.

I only joined the free one. Also, notice that only real time workouts (you hit 'start your workout' and then work out) are eligible to win. Manually entered workouts aren't.

I had fun with it. :)

I am home now making chicken noodle soup - kinda silly cause I think it is 90 degrees here. But I need some comfort food. I made a Dr's appt for tomorrow - think I am getting a sinus infection. :(

Hi, Ladies!
I have been working like crazy. I am an on-call substitute at the school board, and I have done 2 double shifts this week. 8-12 at one school and 1-6 at another. Plus helping the Hubs in the garage putting up the walls and insulating. Now laundry, dishes...?? Oh, yeah, jogging tomorrow, definitely! I can hardly wait! What do I say if husband says, but I need you to help me, or there's so much to do? Why are you going jogging AGAIN? (I only go a couple of times a week, and winter's coming!)
He is actually going to a wake this evening, so I am home with DD and trying to get some cleaning done. Talk to you all tomorrow!

Hi poppyseeds,

I was just reading your post that you think you may have an ulcer - I had a gallbladder attack a few years back and the pain was just as you described. To me it felt like a hot knife stabbing in my upper stomach. The pain would last a couple of hours and then magically go away sometimes for weeks other times months. I dealt with it for about a year until my gallbladder exploded and needed emergency surgery - not fun. Anyway thought i might throw that idea out to you - it may not be as severe as an ulcer. Hope this is helpful and not a bother.
PS - when this happened I had just lost 20 lbs and was in the best shape of my young life - the doctor said that the common person to have gall stone issues was middle aged - overweight and female. Good luck and feel better

Wow, I was in good shape too when my gallbladder got me sick! I was 150 pounds and eating well, except for one Saturday when I decided to do a "girls day in" with my best bud and eat pizza, junk food and watch movies. The next day, I started having pain and bloating. My day of fun triggered the problem I guess. Two months later, I got rid of the gallbladder, but haven't been in that good a shape since. Working on that now though. :)

Hi guys,

Busy like crazy today! And for the rest of the week too. Boy, I didn't get a chance to rest from the surgery. Luckily I only had a little crampyness from the procedure that was gone before I left the recovery room. My neck, on the other hand, hurts like heck. :)

Hope you are all having a great week so far!

Sass--- Looking good! Looking good. Keep up the good work. :cheer3:

Karen ---- I must of missed a post or two, (add to it my being MIA and absent minded lately), so don't know all that is going on. BUT did want to offer you a HUG  Hope the rest of the week is gentler on you.

Kofarq--- Enjoy your jog tomorrow. How far do you usually jog? Have you ever measured it?

Well the kiddies didn't nap today, but my phone call still occured. Good thing I got them sitting down with lunch and a movie. All went well. :D
Made some cookies and brownies too---- and didn't over indulge in them either. One small brownie and cookie. :dust:

Well off to finish up a few more things before I turn in for the night.
Tata ladies. :chockiss:

callmemom... WOW! Thanks for the informaion. I had no idea that it could be my gallbladder or gallstones. I'm still having some discomfort here and there and it really acts up when I am stressed.

I'm sorry I didn't see your post earlier (didn't mean to be rude by not responding)... my notification of new posts never got to my email and I've been sick the past two days with a severe sore throat.

Weird though... I just lost 19 pounds and was feeling amazing... is this a conspiracy?? LOL

Thanks again...

Yeah, she is right, I sort of thought of it (since I had the same problem in 2001), but didn't think to say anything. Good luck with getting whatever is giving you problems fixed soon poppy! Feel better.
