Hey ladies, just realized that there was a mistake in my meal plan on my blog. There should be an Afternoon Snack of yogurt & fruit in there. Sorry about that. I fixed it now.

Welcome Rikki! You will love the support you get here. I am sure that you can do it! Glad you joined us.
Pam, I did get the yard mowed. The neighbor boy stopped over on his lawn mower that he got from our other neighbor and offered to mow. So I only had the small side yard to do and the bank in the big side yard to do. I am still doing the WATP's videos/dvd's every day. I have noticed that when I do them, I am feeling lots better and my body is toning up nicely. They give you a great workout and you don't even know that the time is up until she goes to end the workout.
Kori, enjoy doing your healthy stuff for you. Hope you get to go outside soon and garden.
Fergi, good luck getting ready for your trip. When are you leaving again? Glad that Dolly isn't close to you.
Hi to everyone else. Hope you are all having a great day!
Take care,
Kerry

Hey all, I have been taking time away from the store. . . I promise. No I am just doing other things as well. Went away last weekend and had a blast.

Kerry ~ Tuesday we didn't have any storms. At least none that caused our power to go out. I was at the store from 8 - 4, and we didn't have to go down to the dock or anything. Maybe it just stayed south. Hmmm.

Well gotta do some stuff before taking off for a meeting.

hi everyone, went to check out a "goat operation" this am. DH and I have thought about getting goats when the kids (ours ) are a little bit bigger. Now I have to start getting ready for DS's b-day thing tomorrow. I'll try to catch up with everyone this weekend.... :dizzy:

P.S. for those of you interested, day 4 of night weaning went pretty well, DD only woke up 4 times last night and was still going back to sleep with minimal crying. I am keeping my "eye on the prize" - a full night's sleep! :D

Rikki- welcome! hope you find this an enjoyable place. This october I will be turning 29 for the third time but I felt i could relate better to the people here...

To all, you guys have lifted my spirits and I feel ready to make some permanent changes...thanks for the advice...Erin

Welcome Rikki!

I need to vent now. My South Beach is going good, but I absolutely don't feel like moving. I know that I have to do at least something active to help me lose weight, but can't. I made myself to start an exercise, but couldn't finish half of it. Not that I have no energy, just kinda don't want to....

poppyseeds 07-24-2008 08:36 PM

Erin... I saw you joined sparkpeople!!! I am so excited! It is so much fun! I log my food and my fitness... read articles and try to get as many points as possible. They have message boards there too but I like it here better. The site is not working properly right now... I'm having a hard time getting some of the windows to pop up. When it's up, I'll visit your sparkpage and check it out!!

RLK2005 07-24-2008 09:43 PM

Thanks for the welcome ladies! I am a member of sparkpeople, too! I had an exhausting day and ate out twice. Tomorrow is weigh in so I am a little nervous but I had a good week besides today so we'll see. I am looking forward to being apart of this group. I think it will help!!

And, I understand feeling down about weight and eating plans and exercise... I don't even know what it is that finally moves me to change but it can be hard to start up. I need to get back to my exercise routine (had a good one going before my last pregnancy). Now I would rather sleep in but if I don't work out before the kids get up, I just don't get it in. Well, sorry to ramble. I just wanted to say that I do understand how hard it is (I am sure we all do) and it's good to have somewhere to share! Rikki

Ok, I know we are supposed to start a new thread, but I am not sure how to do that and still reply to everyone here....

I don't know if it is because I am just tired of working around the same three pounds or if it is because I am tired of travel or because my TOM is right around the corner....but I am sick of counting points and I am revolting on formalized diets. I have just had enough.
Erin I feel the same way at least once a month! it's frustrating, and part of the reason I keep losing and gaining. I am hoping that this board will help me to get through it, and I'm hoping that you feel better today!

BTW, is it ok to still call it "baby" weight even though you have no babies anymore? Not! LOL.
I hope it's ok! My baby turns 4 on monday - but I gained most of my weight with the 13 year old!! :yikes:

Oh and of course, I drink 4-32 oz. bottles of water daily. OH!! I have a poem for that!!... Wait...
:write: Joan, again, kudos on the hysterical poem! I love it!!

Hello. I am new (again) to 3FC and wanted to know if I could jump in here.
:welcome3:

Anyway, I am still trying to get the hang of this, but wanted to let everyone know that I am here and trying my best! Also, I know I can't have a ticker yet, but could someone tell me how to add it when I have been here long enough to have one?
Thanks! Holly
