morning everyone, :coffee: I always feel like such a lazybones when I come on here any you all have been up for eons...crazy time change. :)

Another overcast day here, I think I'll stay inside and make bread and some dips for my cousin's (super-late) graduation party tomorrow. Our temps are around 50-60 right now, probably sounds good to some of you in the upper 90's. :) We've had a really cool summer this year, hope that doesn't translate into a cold winter too. :(

Trish, sorry to hear about your rough couple of days, I hope you found peace this morning and your day improved. :hug:

GG, one more day and you get a day off!!!!!!! :carrot: congrats on getting a walk in this morning. Maybe I will do that for my exercise today, get the kids out too.

Holly, sorry about your DH. My DH is a SAHD during the winter while I teach, I KNOW the XBOX and internet get a lot more use, he is a horrible housekeeper, but does much better working with the kids on counting, alphabet, etc. than I do. Hope it works out. :hug:

I am so lazy today you have no idea. My whole family is away to Alaska and I am with my middle one stayed behind. I don't feel like cleaning or cooking at all. All we do with my 11 year old is playing board games and Wii. HELP! :)

Poppy, sports drive me nuts. Thank goodness DS only plays baseball, he's not awesome, and he doesn't have a huge love for it, it's just okay to him, so we get off rather easy. HOpe you are enjoying your day with DD.

yana, hey!! How did you wind up stuck at home?? Did I miss something?

So guess what??? I HAVE NO KIDS!!!!! MIL offered to kkep tehm overnight, and, well she didn't have to ask me twice. I'm gonna take a shower, Fran should be home soon, I'm gonna try to work a date with him, you know at least dinner somewhere. I know he won't want to spend the money, but I think I can persuade him...*hehe*

Well, another thing!! I came home to an email from my bellydance instructor saying that because I have been picking things up so quickly, she wants me to take the Advanced beginner class next session. Normally you have to have 3-4 sessions, I'm at then end of my 2nd, so that makes me feel pretty good!!! She says there are some more complicated things, but she thinks I can handle it...YAY!!!

Alright, enough bragging...gotta get cleaned up for the man. HOpe everyone has a super Friday night!!!

Pmasci - My work schedule is very flexible. My team is in SIngapore and i often work from home. I recently had deviated septum surgery and was working from home for two weeks so, I have lot's of time since i don't waste it on commute to work anymore.

Pam ~ you lucky duck! Didn't your MIL take them for the night a week or so ago? I know that you love your MIL and I can see why:).

No pool today. Can you believe that none of the kids wanted to go? We've gone so often this summer that it's not that big of a deal to them I guess. Last summer I hardly ever took them because of my wanting to stay out of the sun (I was taking Accutane) so I've made up for it this time around. The girls are so darn cute! All play together by themselves and I hardly hear a peep out of them. We have a busy weekend ahead so this will probably be my last post until next week. TGIF ~ Joan

Pam you must have the most fun with the belly dancing. Do you dance for your husband? Maybe that is a way to get him to go on a date with you. My kids have been at my MIL since yesterday.

Joan my kids would live in the pool if they could. I would probably have to serve them their meals out there. By the way no my work does not pay for college. They will pay to advance your certification but to advance degree wise. It has to be law enforcement related.

Sunshine I hope your mom gets better real soon. It is hard seeing the parents sick.

Sounds like everyone is having a great Friday. Any big plans for the weekend? We have the stepkids this weekend. So going to the fair again tomorrow evening. My only other plans are to get two more workouts in and go to the library tomorrow afternoon.

Hi to everyone else. Hope your day is going well. I haven't really done much today. I watched some reruns of Psych on tv, read a few more pages in my book, took an hour nap, eat lunch and then read some more. Finally got my workout in this afternoon. I did a four mile WATP dvd. Boy did I get a workout in. Now I am cooling off before I jump in the shower. Normally I have my workout done in the mornings. Just didn't feel motivated today for some reason. But am glad that I finally got it done. Well I will chat with you all later. Have a wonderful evening!
