Just waiting for the little guy here to wake up from nap. I think we will go on a Target run. I need to get a few things before we leave tomorrow night. Not sure of what we will be doing tonight - maybe a run for a little treat. We are really celebrating this weekend during our trip.

We have been relaxing. I made a delicious chicken soup, Sean loved it, he has been eating quiet a bit today, I am happy! He just took a shower and we are going to go to see the Dr. in an hour, he says his chest is hurting, my poor little guy, it is not one thing is another. I am glad to be home thought, it is very gloomy and rainy.

Well I survived the school day. As you can imagine Valentine's Day is crazy. the kids havn't had any suger but they just antcipate it. I am exhausted. We are headed to Olive Garden for dinner. My parents gave us some money fo dinner. Dh and I just exchange cards. We did not DS anything. After paying for his party for his friends and getting goodies for preschool that ate up his Valentine's budget. I assume as he gets older we will give him stuff.

This is probably one of the most unromantic Valentine Day's we've had. :lol: Didn't even get each other cards! The kids had a great time at their parties at their schools. Oh well, maybe we can go out to dinner over the weekend. And our anniversary is next month anyway.

Christina, both my boys came home with mostly goodies from their parties, but one of the mom's from Peter's school gave a little wooden toy.

Evening All,

Good Valentines on this end. We always get the kids a little something along with a small amount of candy. I told DH no flowers that I'd rather have a plant for the house. He took me at my word and also got me my own copy of "Pillars of the Earth." Has anybody else read that book? I read it years ago, long before Oprah discovered it and it has been one of my favorite reads ever. I'm looking forward to re-reading again... so much for romantic plans, eh? We are both extra tired tonight and can't wait to put the kids to bed so that we can climb into our bed and read:-).

I believe that I'm feeling extra tired tonight because I ate crap today. I took some pastries to my folks this morning and we sat around talking and eating sweets. I've been cranky this evening and I know it's because of all of the sugar inside me.

OH LAUREN ~ excellent news! So happy for you!!

Time to get the little monkeys rounded up and off to bed. They're gonna give me a hard time tonight since tomorrow is a half day and somehow they'll think that justifies staying up later...

DH is back from LA but I think he is going to work for a little while, wow what a romantic V-Day for me!

I cached up on my knitting and played w/the dudes, the little dudette is just a little trouble maker, she won't put up w/much from them. She has been doing quiet a bit of chewing on things around the house.

Joan, I ate crap today also. I planned on eating Chicken Breast for dinner. Well the kids Pizza got done first and I was hungry.....Then I topped it off with a Pepsi. Haven't read the book. Enjoy your read!

evening all. well today at work sucked. I have never had so many rude or crazy clients. I swear everyone was very witchy and mean. So definately not a good day. Oh well..such is life. DH was nice and got me a card. we really don't do anything for vdays. i sort of think its an overrated holiday. maybe i'm the only one...but we don't go crazy about vday. We are planing to go for dessert tonight. but otherwise nothing.

Today was sucky at work today for me as well. I hate it when I have short days (8 - 12, only being on the floor for an hour). That's what today was for me. Plus I was feeling all down in the dumps because I don't have a b/f, dh, or significant other in my life. No offense to my parents ~ they're great ~ but I would like to have someone to do things with.

Well before I depress myself any further, I think I will head to bed.
