Hello from Colorado!

Hi all. I am new today and can't wait to get started. Everyone seems very cool. My husband and I gained weight together for the past 5 years of our marriage, and now we are both taking it off. (him faster than me of course):^:
Hope to talk to everyone soon!

Welcome lexy! Join us on the daily thread... We're all in the same boat and we love to see new faces. So unfair that men are able to drop the pounds so much faster than women.

Ok, I'm not a 30-something, but I am from Colorado too. :) Where in CO are you from?

lexytay 08-29-2007 09:42 AM

South of Denver, although I have only been living out here for about 3 years. I am originally from PA. How about you?

Originally from OK, but I lived in Parker/Lone Tree/Littleton area for 7 years and have been living in the Springs for the past 7 years as well. How do you like it here so far? When I lived in Parker, it was out in the boonies! Every time I go to Denver, it amazes me how much it has grown.

I am right near Littleton! Parker has really grown in the last couple years. How do you like the Springs? I am one of those people who loves to move to new places. I am thinking about North Carolina...especially with last winter out here. I was one of those people stuck in the Denver airport during the blizzard!

I loathed the Springs when I first moved here, but I had grown accustomed to living in Denver so I loved the bigger city. Springs has grown a TON in the past 3-4 years, but it's still a great town. I wouldn't mind living here for a long time. Oh I feel for you about the blizzard... we were on our honeymoon when it hit and flew back just as they reopened the airport!

The only thing I'm not fond of (and probably live in the wrong state) is the snow and cold. I wish we had a longer warm season here. I am one of those people that would probably be ok if it only snowed once or twice a year. :)
