Something in it really hurt my stomch... all the way thru to my back... i took one the other day but i think i took it before a meal, it didnt hurt... today i took one about 20-40 minutes after a meal and it hurt.
Anyone else have this problem
I can't even keep "hard" vitamins down. My stomach won't accept them apparently. I've had this problem since I was a kid. I've heard that vitamins made from food (versus synthetic) are easier for your body to absorb, but I just forgo the "hard" kind and I take a liquid.
BTW, you should always take your vitamin with a meal, regardless of the type. You need a little fat along with the vitamins to absorb the fat soluble ones.
I had that too!
I'm not sure what it is, but it's definitely enough to scare me away. I keep thinking maybe I'll take it at night before bed, but I haven't tried that yet either. It's probably the iron. What I've done in the past is take SloFe as an iron supplement and then a mixture of other vitamins. SloFe digests slower so it's not as hard on your gut. It's more costly, though, so I'm trying to avoid going that route.
alot of ppl have issues with the "binding agents" that many vitamin pills are made of. That may be the issue. You can try liquid ones or try some from health food stores that seem to be less problematic.

I have a bottle of CVS Weight Smart vitamins...and I can't take them. They make me nauseous, regardless of if I take them with or without food. I keep saying I'll try taking them at night, or midday or something, maybe it'll be better, but I just keep putting it off...guess I don't want that feeling!
Well i took one this morning with a banana.... bite of banana... swallow.. pill and water.... eat the rest of the bananna... NO PAIN!
i read where you say about being fat soluble... bananas have a little fat in them... and it worked!
I don't know what it is, but my best friend & I both noticed tummyaches when we switched from a women's formula multivitamin to a weight-smart formula.
