Hey all! Good news and bad news. Bad news is my uncle had to go back in for emergency surgery. His bowel had tiny holes in it and was leaking nasty fluid into his system. He is still in surgery as I type, but things are going OK in surgery. The nurse came out about an hour ago to talk with my aunt. I just hope he pulls through this. He is about the only member of my family I actually like. I am very worried. But it is out of my control.

Good news is I got the job!!! I will be the pharmacy manager starting June
4th! Woohoo!! Will be challanging as it is the busiest store in my company and the old pharmacy manager who is stepping down will still be at the store part time. They are keeping him at the same store because the customers know him (he's been there a lloooooonnnngg time). The supervisor of all the stores has made it clear to him that I will be the boss and he will have to support me. He told me if it gets to be a problem, I will stay and the other RPh will go. I don't anticipate a problem, but who knows? I am up for a challange. I will just have to win the customers over with my shining self! I am just so excited and honored to be trusted with the company's busiest store. BTW - I have only been with my company just under 3 months. Are they nuts? LOL. No, I have confidence in my abilities and it is nice that the higher ups recognize my potential.

Joan - Yea!!! Only one more to go. So exciting. Is your house in Wildwood a new house? I think you mentioned it was. Of course most things out there are new or newer. Where are you going on vacation?

Rooster - Sorry about the dancing. I didn't realize you guys were new at the lessons. I thought you had been at it for a while. It really is frustrating when something that you want to do for fun is agonizing. Hang in there (or on DW). It has to get better, right? Oh, and I am a big tech-crazed person too. I love getting new toys. (No comments from Sheila, etc.;) ).

GG - missed you today. I always enjoy your posts even when you are crabby!

Fabric - welcome back. I've thought about WW. Keep us informed how it goes for you.

MJ - You make my day!! Just ROFL whenever I read your posts. I wish I had your energy and spunkiness. No amount of Coke will work!!! (Sorry I don't like the Dew). Sorry about your hard times with the meds and weight! Hang in there, you will normalize. It just takes time and patience. Good job on the taco bar and guac is good fat. Remember, good fat:p

Nonrg - Sorry about the wakes. But at least you got to see the part of your ex-family you like and send your condolences their way. I'm glad there is another night-owl in the group!! Everyone else seems to be early-birds!

Been a crazy couple of days. Alex had his 4 yr check yesterday and had to get THREE shots, then he had bloodwork (trying to figure out his allergies) today. Let's just say these were not his favorite activities of all time. To say he screamed and fought is an understatement. I'm worn out and I didn't even get the shots/bloodwork.

Rooster man: I *love* Geochaching. We went a lot more before we had kids. We went a couple weekends ago to pick up a travel bug we had placed. It was a white teddy bear with a surf board from some AT&T promotion, so his name is Telly Phone Bear. We sent him out 5 years ago to go to Malibu and surf. He did and made it home!
