So, just time for a really quick post.

I did nothing with my trains yesterday. I got playing a video game and next thing I knew, I had wasted close to *6 hours*. I'm REALLY bad that way. *sighs* Anyway, much like with weight loss, can't dwell on it - just gotta accept it and move on.

Today, however, I'm spending the day at a friends house working on stuff for the show. (Not the same stuff as I was supposed to work on yesterday...) With exactly one week before the show, and a full week of busy evenings, the pressure is on.

Weigh in is tomorrow. We'll see how much I've gained while on vacation.

Good Morning everyone

My weight loss has sucked eggs since vacation. I go down then up. Due to the cold weather I haven't walked outside at all or done anything inside.
I truly believe exercise helps out alot. I went yesterday and had a 30 min massage never done that before I ended up with a headache all day and night but man it felt good. They said drink a bunch of water which I did but it takes the toxins out of your body faster having a massage, who would have thought I have been missing out. 30.00 for an oil massage 45.00 for an hour. That is better than chocolate!

Not much going on this weekend. My mom has not said anything about easter dinner to me and my three other siblings so finally yesterday she called and all of us had already bought stuff for meals at our own homes. she wasn't too happy but she and my dad I am sure will go to the casino on easter. My mom is so negative I can't be around her much at all. It is always someone else that is in the wrong and you never do anything right.

I have to figure out what the Easter bunny is bringing yeah I really hate shopping for Holidays. It is so over rated I sometimes feel like people forget what holidays are all about.

I better get off I can tell I am in one of those moods today, I hope you all enjoy your Easter

Morning ladies, I have been MIA due to bringing home the puppy a week ahead of schedule! The first 2 days, well actually evenings I thought I'd lose my mind! No sleep for me, but at least the puppy seems to know he's not supposed to go potty in his little crate, we've had only 1 accident and that was on my husbands watch!

Today we're having lunch with the inlaws, who have driven 2 hours to meet us for lunch. Luckly they can't drop in early and surprise us, since we live on base lol. After the scare with the scale and the pig cookoff, lol I'm not sure what I'll eat, but I do know they've selected a BBQ place.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. We'll probably be fishing tomorrow, or something similiar and quiet.

I survived lunch with the inlaws. I ate a bit more than I should have. I'll just have to go with it... water water water, treadmill treadmill treadmill I'll be mowing two yards again this weekend, that should help.

We've been here in NC for just one year, I don't get homesick until holidays. When I call home and mom and my siblings/relatives are all laughing and giggling, and I'm not there. Easter was our last holiday with family in CA (my family is really tight, my husbands really isn't). It was also the last time I saw my great grandmother, and said goodbye to her, knowing she probably wouldn't make it much longer. She died Nov 2nd at the age 103. I wish I could have gone home for a couple weeks. Mom surprised my sister (my best friend) and I webcams for xmas, it's just not the same, but I'll make do. Maybe I'll sew myself something new to wear on camera tomorrow

Shelia- I have always wanted a massage! Just never make time for myself to do something nice like that, lol if I have time to be away from the kids, I'm probably at the dentist, or something equally not fun Good for you! Maybe I'll set a goal and when I reach it, treat myself!

Christina- I'm so sorry about your son! Reminds me of my stepbrother, who was in and out of juvi, and then county jail. Good kid, just picked lousy friends, and now it seems the worst is over
Sending some happy vibes for the little one. I couldn't imagine being so small and in the hospital thank goodness it's a short stay!

fabric addict: Believe it or not I started doing little things like this for myself first it was a shirt then so on but It really boosted my confidence. I am going to treat myself to a massage each month. I can't believe the difference.

hey all...GOD i'm exhausted. Today was my saturday to work. And it LOOKED as if it would be slow....heck no!!!! 4 emergencies and 3 patients admitted into the hospital and i'm wiped out! I worked 8 hrs straight without a break (we recently moved our sat hrs to 2pm...it use to be 12..so now we dont have a break). And to make things worse, one of my 9am apts was a sick guinea pig...and unfortunately that is the only animal i'm highly allergic too (my face swells up like egore). So i had to take some antihistimines, but then they made me a bit loopy...so that helped add to the exhaustion factor. So when i got home at almost 4 (didn't leave the clinic until 3.30) i passed out. Just got showered and changed for a friends easter party. Needless to say, not very good on the eating aspect. I definately will try to sleep in as much as possible, however i do have to get up in the am to check all my hospital patients...and unfortunately several of them are VERY critical. We shall see.
So yes RR -wish i could slow down...but this week it hasn't been possible...i hate having to work every other saturday...doesn't make for much of a life..and we had that wonderful cold snap too...just when you though winter was over...wtf?????
roo - hope you get your train stuff done...stay away from that darn video game..it will suck you in every time.
happy-sorry to hear about DMil not doing well...good luck on the book club
christina - sorry to hear you have one sick kid and one disobiedient kid. Hope things get a bit better..hang in there
fabbric - i'm like you..miss my family..i don't get to see them near enough. hang in there
alright guys..i'm going to help dh put together the salad for our party tonight..happy easter all (i will probably be on here some time tomorrow)

hello again!

I had a great day as far as my food goes, didn't eat anything to bad, I could had, I took DS out for dinner to McD's and I had a salad!!!

it is 11:20 PM and I am done with all the cooking and getting ready for tomorrow's book club at my house, I thought I was going to get in bed and fall asleep, as I am so tired, NOT. As soon as I get in bed I am right awake, I have no clue why.

DH left at 8:30 AM and is still at work, they are short staffed so he is working crazy hrs. He called earlier and said he sold 2 cars, at least he is had a good day! I am sure he sold another one or he would have been home already.

Have a great day tomorrow!
