Hi... I am new and looking for a group



  • I am a 35 year old single Mom...

    I quit smoking... it will be two years on Mother's day... and I got up to my full term pregnancy weight! (actually, two pounds more)...

    I started the South Beach Diet in Jan... lost 11 or 12 pounds... but I am not doing it right. For example, I just binged out on raw cashews... I know they are on the "good" list... but not when you eat as many as I did!

    I have been doing the eliptical for 30 minutes, (almost) daily. I want to try to start jogging, but it bores me out of my mind and all I can think about is how much I hate it.

    I am uncomfortable in my body and have a hard time in yoga poses cause my belly is pressing on my legs!

    It's affecting my sex life, because I don't even feel good being naked!

    Ah... looking for some support!

    How about if you jog outside, instead of on a treadmill or something? Then you'd have things to look at while jogging. Throw on some headphones and the time will probably fly. I wish I could jog, but right now, it's out of the question. Maybe if I lose 50 lbs. my knees won't hurt.
