Default Cellulite

I have been thinking about this a bit lately and I havnt seen anything on the forums about it. I want mine to go away! Far far far away!

If you have lost a significant amount of weight did your cellulite go away too? Get better? Worse?
What steps do you take to get rid of it? Exercises? Creams? All of the above? lol

Exercise, lots of veggies, a Nivea gel which claims to help reduce visible cellulite, and prayers and crossed fingers

All right, I don't know how much the gel actually works, but everyone needs some kind of placebo at some point - and it was on special offer in the shop!

I've heard that if you tan (or for better health, use those tanning lotions), cellulite will be less visible. Like how wearing black is slimming--darker skin, it's less visible.

My cellulite, found on my behind and thighs totally and completely disappeared by shedding the pounds. I did nothing else to facilitate it. Eliminating the fat, eliminated the problem.

For me, it's just going away on its own as I continue to lose. It's just fat, looks a bit different, but all in all, just fat. As I lose fat it eventually will be lost along with the other fat.

I am 58. I have lost and gained many times, but the only time I lost the cottage cheese thighs was when I got serious with resistance training.

Ok--I have to chip in here as this is my area of expertise! =)
As someone that was in the skincare industry for years, I can tell you with 100% certainty that cellulite is a SKIN problem...not a FAT problem. Think about it...we all know ladies that are very skinny with cellulite, and fuller-figure ladies with no cellulite. It's still not completely understood (as to why some women are more likely to get it than others)...but the thought is that as your skin becomes weakened from aging and the enviornment, fat cells get pushed to the surface and cause that dimpled appearance that we all hate. Sometimes, when you lose weight the appearance is diminished as the fat cells flatten...but the REAL solution is to treat the skin from the inside out. Supplements high in antioxidants and essential fatty acids are the only thing clinically proven to work on cellulite and these results can also be helped by topical serums to increase circulation and promote healthy skin growth from the lowest layer (dermis) up.
Eating foods rich in antioxidants (pomegranates, goji berries, red wine, green tea) and not forgetting "good" fats in your diet along with a multi vitamin or supplements designed for cellulite reduction will help.

I applied dermalmd nicely.....non greasy..... Cellulite appears very brighter and cellulites show less. Has a wonderful texture and improved the affected area nicely. Surely I will continue to use it and hopefully see it get better and better better than ever before....

There’s a couple of ways to reduce the appearance of cellulite.
1) Reduce your lower body fat percentage.
2) Stimulate the muscle fibres in your thighs, hips and butt.
