Well, I'm back from my vaycay overseas and I totally gained weight! Even though I was doing some serious walking, the final tally is UP SEVEN FREAKING POUNDS over 3 weeks!!!
And when I mean serious walking, I mean that I took my pedometer with me and averaged 15,230 steps EACH DAY. With my HIGH at 24,290 on the last day -- around 11 miles given my stride. Clearly the walking didn't compensate for my diet!
I fully acknowledge that I deserve every single extra pound, given the pasta and gelato and the paninis and the bombolinis and the wine wine WINE so no pity party for me. I'll get right back at it and it'll come off soon enough, I'm sure.
But has ANYONE found a link to that magical website which tells you how to enjoy a consequence-free eating lifestyle?????
